Maybe im missing something because I have never played in the Prem. But can someone explain to me why its a reoccurring these that the far post defender stops running and allows the striker at the far post to carry on his run and score?

Then they act shocked and surprised

    So whats up?

Thanks for the clear pen at the end, Brighton.

They'll be gutted for reducing the goal frames.

Responses in this thread are embarrassing. The amount of late winners we had under Ferguson after being absolutely shit is huge. Really dire performances celebrated with the joy of a late win. The self loathing is pathetic

Sure, but we shouldn't need penalties to win games against such teams. We were outplayed today. Brighton were totally unlucky.

Once again Bruno involved in all goals.

Sure what? Bissaka is correctly position, Bruno is the one that doesn't track March.

He was also involved in all of Brightons goals as well, thought he was gash overall.

This is the Caf now, get used to it.

Lads I had 50 pound on the draw and paddy power paid out! Life is good!

Any way they take it back?

New low, fecking atrocious that was. Wan bissaka is fecking shite, positioning is non existant. 130 mill on him and that fecking carthorse and people say our recruitment has improved under ole...Has it feck...Just as bad as most of the last decade.

As bad as anything under Moyes, LVG or Jose that today, totally outclassed buy fecking Brighton.
Absolute shite from ole, 5 at the back and we still get men running free down our right time after time after time, a sunday league manager would spot that and address it

Laughing stock of world football, ran by fecking clowns, not one competent person anywhere.

Got to Congratulate BHA, they have bossed both Chelsea and us at home; but lost both times undeservingly

We need to upgrade our fans as well.

did I hear that right- we shipped 18 shots on our goal

Almost everything from AWB side, so incredible out of position. He watches the ball and drifts in and they switch to play to his side. Cant remember the match, but he was actually targeted one game because of this.

People keep writing that 'we were lucky' well that seems to even out with how unlucky we we were against Palace in our last game.

I don't really understand your point. Are you saying that celebrating late wins after playing rubbish is self-loathing'? I don't see how celebrating a late win unde Ferguson is any different from celebrating a late win under any other manager, unless your point is to do with how good we were under Ferguson (apart from after the year 2009) to how rubbish we are now then I don't quote understand your point.

Imagine the self loathing needed to accuse United not of being fortunate, but cheating, to be awarded a corner
Yep. Not happy with how we played or to be honest with how we were managed, but my god I will take it and on to the next game. We must have the tiredest team on the planet.
By the way SAF had brilliant sides who did have off days. This side and manager are nowhere near the same level. You knew that side would learn from it.

The match threads are unbelievable sometimes. Distinctly remember the Fulham game in 2007 where they absolutely battered us but we were saved by a late winner from Ronaldo after taking half their team on.

No I'm saying being 'gutted' for Brighton and focusing immediately on the negative in the literally post match seconds is extremely odd to me. If you don't get 15 minutes of joy after a 100th minute win, then you watch football and follow united very differently to me

We deserved nothing, but got all the spoils, fantastic to come away with three points considering the performance.
