Ajax have been playing the same way since Rinus Michels coached them back in the 60s and 70s. We’ve had loads of coaches who all want to play differentlyMatic had no options at all. Our playing has been terrible.Brighton the better team. We’re still in testimonial mode.It’s like there is literally zero system from zero coaching. But with a hope that individual brilliance from certain players will be enough to pull us through. Sometimes it comes together, albeit by luck rather than tactically, but a lot of the time it’s stale and tumescent whereby we can’t beat even mediocre opponents.
