    If we don't win this game and fail to get 3 points against WHU on Saturday, any remote chance of top 4 and UCL next season is realistically gone and in the bin.

    Brentford have been tough opponents for other teams and unlucky to lose a couple of their recent games.
    I hate to say it, but they'll be well up for this fixture and if Utd are not on their game, Brentford couldn't be facing an easier opposition to get their form back on track.

    Dalot had some great decision making in his defensive positioning last game. He's just prone to getting eaten one on one.
     
    Jones as a holding midfielder and VDB starting is what I came here for.

    Sky Sports News are saying that they believe Maguire will be on the bench again tonight. Not fully fit.
     
    There's no way Martial can start ahead of Greenwood or Elenga. Ronaldo coming in for Cavani is the only change there I can imagine,

    We're just shit and even if teams do raise their games against us, they would also have done when we were under Fergie yet we battered them week in week out.

    If Ronaldo is still struggling for fitness, could come in for him. He'll probably frustrate us all for being static and leaving the box empty but he may just help bring the control RR seeks as he can at least hold up the ball, can dribble, and may just dovetail nicely with wide forwards who like to score rather than assist.

    Playing him in place of Greenwood or Elanga or any wide forward really? No thanks
     
    Maguire has been exposed this season for what he is. Average. Everyone is starting to notice now and the fact he isn’t playing when he’s fit shoes that we might actually be planning to move on without him. We were fleeced. These signings need to stop.
     
    I'll be happy if Elanga keeps his place. Anyone that does well let them play again, play badly, hit the bench. If Elanga does better than Sancho or Rashford then he should play.

    Agreed. I want to see Ralf ruthlessly rewarding guys who work hard and stick to the plan and hammering guys who don't.
     
    No Maguire and Rashford means my blood pressure will only be dangerously high this evening and not the usual borderline fatal it is when I have to watch them.

    If we are playing a 433, it’s probably the best we could do. Don’t think it’d ever happen. Elanga out wide over Ronaldo though, he can’t be playing wide left at the age of 37
