Did you really expect him to do exactly that? I agree that AWB shouldn't have left his back and let him turn, but to expect him to flick it over his head like that? No way.Got to wonder where Lindelof was heading when King chested that. Bissaka doesn’t do great but Lindelof should have been trying to cover him.
At least Mata has football skills and a brain.AWB lost the duel, but Lindelöf didnt see it coming. If he stands there instead of moving away, he could have cleared itMan marking from Maguire forcing Lindelof and AWB to move to the left. Also we need a proper #10, Andreas is useless. You can’t have a passenger in a key position, everything comes to him and dies with him.
How many times did he try and play balls that were easily intercepted? Everyone else is fine but when he’s your pivot it kills everything.Yet again it's our form against the lower teams that decides our seasons. AWB was great their, but our 2 center halfs should have been their. Lindelof was caught in no mans land and Maguire was no where to be seen.
AWB was the only one who seen the danger but just couldn't intercept and stop it.I didn't like to spoil the party but I did suspect that people were getting a bit carried away over beating Norwich.Lindelof went walkies. Why would he be moving away from danger when there were strikers and the ball in the box...
Never a starter u can rely on to defend.
