Twice the player Stones isBailly could turn out to be the best deal of the summer.

Bailly has completed 22/22 (100%) passes in the first half.
Am I the only one happy with the first half? We've been in control, tough away game - first of the season and a goal on top of it. We have a lot of new players, new managers and always start slow.
We've been really organized but lacking in the final third - would expect that to get better of course in the next games, but given how the top sides have struggled in the first round it's been a solid display.
The only downside is as always - Rooney. I'd have Micky/Rashford on the right and Mata in the middle to combine with Herrera. Rooney is just so off the pace...
It was good timing though. For what it's worth though I disagree, he's clearly good enough for us.
Would undoubtedly be better than Rooney.fecking hell play him as a number 10
it's like our engine is clogged with him in it. in playing terms, it's like we're a man down ALL THE TIME!1Rooney has to have a playing time clause in his contract, as there's no other reasonable explanation for his continuing inclusion.
Like a coagulation of fish scales, baby vomit and shite in the u-bend.
I must have missed something. I was under the impression that we had a new manager.
Cnut.Call me a cnut but I know i'm not the only one that wouldn't hate if Rooney picked up an injury that had him out a few months

I'm serious that Valencia needs some massive appreciation gesture when he does eventually leave us. Yes he had a period where we was pretty shit at crossing and as a winger but the way LVG converted him to his new position and doing it so well is imho brilliant. True servant of the club and imho United legend when you consider all the players that left around in the meantime. Hard working and selfless, the United way.

You're right, but I'm a sucker for defense-first Fullbacks
250th appearance today as well.I have a man crush on Valencia. Dunno why, think he just fecking loves it here.
Does anyone who doesn't do absolutely everything perfect automatically qualify as poor for you? He's tried to make stuff happen, not everything has come off. Try to keep the knee-jerks to a minimum, would you please?Martial has been very poor
Indeed. Especially given our away form last year. Pogba will also bring a lot to our midfield, and for different reasons we haven't had the best preparation pre season so far - with transfers, the EURO's players coming back from holiday and so forth. The team would need some time to gel and hit the stride.Lots of people forgetting we lost this fixture last season. Three points is all that counts for me. I wanna win the league, not the Wenger performance trophy or a moral cup.
Ibra making his run and Rooney completely blanking it??
Ibra and Rooney were exchanging words as they walked towards the dugout, didn't look happy with each other
What gave you that idea?Just come home, there seems to be difference of opinion about performances, but I get the impression that you all think Rooney has been terrible.
I think he's pinged a few nice balls out wide but generally he has slowed our play down. The same as last season!Just come home, there seems to be difference of opinion about performances, but I get the impression that you all think Rooney has been terrible.
Bar Valencia's for Ibra's battering ram moment, its been shithouse all afternoon.Poor cross there.
Because Rooney is in the illuminatiIf pep can take off Hart for the welfare of the team why can't we do the same with Rooney?
