Must say very good team. Particularly like Henderson on the bench. Obviously not a fan of the full backs but we have to rotate.8/11 - didn't have Young, Darmian and Lingard - but these 3 were my predicted subs so can't get any correct subs!The fullbacks are the drizzles but the rest looks interesting, not sure about Carrick in a 2 these days but the front 4 should push Blackburn back.5-11 bloody hell.
Anyway, expecting t'Rovers to come out of the traps but hopeful of doing the biz.Absolutely fantastic team.Solid enough side, just about. Still think this will be a tough game.
Got to wonder how Young gets a start a FB rather than Shaw.Wasting an appearance on Ashley Young who has no future at the club is baffling, at least when Luke Shaw can't get a game.I like that team.7, disaster! But pretty happy Young is playing right-back.

Excellent team I must say. Ibra and Pogba getting a rest. And if things don't go right we have a awesome looking bench to unleash on them.

Hoping they'll get game time mid week.Cracking team attacking wise. Hopefully get Carrick off for Schweinsteiger around the 60 min mark and keep him fresh for St. Etienne with Herrera missing that game.

Shaw has plenty of time on his side to get back in amongst the starting positions.Excuse my ignorance but who's Henderson?I really don't see the point of playing Darmian. Terrible player who is not good enough to even start in cup games, especially because we have player like Shaw who despite not being good enough lately has definitely bigger chance of being good fullback for us, and is miles better than Darmian anyway. I am not even big fan of Shaw, I just don't see the logic.
But no doubt people will defend Mourinho's decision even if he played Romero there ahead of Shaw.
Aside from that, decent lineup, but I would rest Herrera maybe.I quite like the look of the team, actually.Looks like a 4-4-2 to me. Lingard/ Mkhi out wide, Rashford and Martial up front.Not crazy about the changes to the defence - feels like both fullbacks could drop a clanger. And the Smalling/Rojo partnership isn't tried and tested.
But attacking-wise we will be a-okay.

Dean Henderson. Goalkeeper who was on loan to Grimsby but was recalled when Pereira got injured.
Henderson, Jordan. Plays for LFC as a central midfielder, widely recognised as one of the finest CM's in the game.Darmain over Shaw is my only problem with that team. Love the pace in attack.

Well this seemed like a perfect opportunity to do so. Shaw has a hell of lot more potential to become a contributor to this side than Ashley Young.Our squad depth Amazing

The best midfielder in the league.That front four, though.Four from the first team now (Smalling, Herrera, Mkhitaryan and Martial), with three very reliable substitutes (Rojo, Carrick and Rashford).I think this will be a close game.
I don't know where people get this idea that Martial will play as a striker from. He hasn't played there once for Mourinho. He's just not a striker.
His potential will be realised evnetually, he is not ready is what I took from Mourinho's words.Really hope it's Rashford up front and a 4-2-3-1 (or 4-3-3 with Mkhi in the Pogba role).
