I'm going to watch this game in the stadium as my friend who has a season-ticket can't go.
I don't go to a Champions League match for a long time, and my first-ever live football match. The score was 2-1 to Benfica, which eliminated Liverpool by 3-0 in the 1/8's. Hope we can do it again
Both are still out. They are not part of the squad according to MEN.Was Bailly injured against LFC? Is he back?
What about Fellaini?
He was also Benfica managerJose was a Porto manager, surely he'll want to win there.

That's a good friend you've got there.
I hope you enjoy the game - if not the result
Oh yes, always forget Sir Moyes era.We reached QFs in Moyes season.
Are they both not still injuredDDG
Lindelof, Bailly, Rojo, Shaw
Matic, Herrera
Mata, Lingard, Rashford
Lukaku
That'll be nice to seeA nice win would pretty much guarantee us a spot in the next round. Be really nice to secure that spot ASAP and be able to give some youngsters a chance at a few CL games.
Another away draw wouldn't be the end of the world in isolation, but we really should be trying hard to win this game with those fixtures in mind.Hopefully we'll win this match so we can "afford" playing a weakened team against them the 31th, as we play Spurs (28/10) and then away at the bridge against Chelsea (5/11).
I submitted same attack but have Valencia Lindelof, Smalling, Blind at the back.DDG

Surely he needs a rest after extensive internationals travels and games?I submitted same attack but have Valencia Lindelof, Smalling, Blind at the back.
Agreed. Assuming we have enough cover in midfield to cope. Hopefully we get the job done here and come away unscathed in terms of injuries. We need all our squad fit and firing for the big month ahead.Rest Matic.
Full squad no... but i know some.Does anyone have the traveling squad? Getting conflicting reports...
A big question mark for Mkhi now. I mean for Jose.
It's not just the Liverpool game. Since the start of the season, his performance has been bad/mediocre, only to be masked by his stats.
But that said, if he takes off Mkhi and moves Mata to #10 in 4-2-3-1, given that Jose seems very unlikely to play Rashford at RW, Lingard doesn't sound promising either.
I think he will still give Mkhi a few "automatic" starting XI position. Mkhi better starts performing otherwise I believe Jose will definitely replace him or change the system.
Looking for something else I actually stumbled accross it...Does anyone have the traveling squad? Getting conflicting reports...
Hopefully the likes of Valencia Matic Lukaku rested for this.
How?Rest Matic.
He's the 17 year oldWait, he's still playing ?
Btw, I think that beating Benfica shouldn't be a priority tonight. More important is that the players are fresh enough against Huddersfield. This game vs Huddersfield may turn out to be more difficult than expected.
Is there any way to rest Matic?

We need to win this game as we have Spurs and Chelsea inbetween a CL game. There we need to rest players to be ready for the LeagueOn the flip side if results go out way and we win our double header against Benfica we could win the group and play a weakened 11 in our last two group games
