In the remaining four matches, Chelsea has three difficult fixtures - Sheffield, Liverpool, and Wolves. I am expecting them to lose against Liverpool and draw one of their two matches against Sheffield or Wolves. That is minus five points.

I can't overstate how important this match against Villa is. Win this and reduce the gap to the third place to two points with a significantly better goal difference. This is the chance to finish third and end a delightful season with Ole and the young players.

    My prediction is 3-1.

When they took a point from Old Trafford earlier in the season, De Gea and Brandon Williams both had a terrible game. Mata, James, Pereira and Fred had all started, with Lingard being our first go to sub. Even then, it took a Jack Grealish worldie to put them in lead.If you've forgotten how depressing that game was, here's a link to the match day thread.

They'll be up for it tonight, again, but we're a completely different side now. Whatever the result, I hope we avoid injuries.

The more confident the mood on the Caf gets, the more worried we should be.
Tbh I'm more worried about the press. Anytime they say "Utd gonna smash someone" we usually turned shite. Don't know why though.

Good thing last time I checked there's almost none.

Really looking forward to this match tonight.

Would be quite confident of a result as Villa are struggling to score goals, John McGinn hasn’t come back his strongest and Grealish seems to not be hitting the same heights as earlier in the season.

With us flying and Villa full of injuries can only see an United win..

All the positivity has ebbed away..just dreading the game where we expect to beat anyone 3-0,4-0. A scrappy 1-0 will do..Just get the 3 points and no injuries and we can be on our way!

The more confident the mood on the Caf gets, the more worried we should be.
If everyone's happy with the starting XI, we might as well just forfeit the game there and then.

We need an early goal. If we get one, I think we will win this on a canter.

I'm so nervous, I mean I am nervous before every game but especially this one.

More nervous for the Palace game, tbh. Now they do raise their game against us.

I reckon they will let Chelsea win to stop us, probably wheel out Gerard to make sure.

Villa will have fight but Smith sets them up so poorly and there is no sense of a style of play at all. They really are poor.

Start strong and get at them and then start taking off the the front 3 and Bruno/Pogba as soon as we can.

what makes me confident about this game is knowing Villa need a win. A win for them isn’t even enough because they will still be 1 point behind 17th place. They can’t afford to sit back and frustrate us. They have to play today which makes it easier for us.

Pretty confident myself and really looking forward to the game. Hopefully our traditional of whipping Villa continues.

Or play there "wonderkids" the same lot that got them kicked out of the cup.. Or even the ones that got them the one nil win against Shrewsbury.. Wonderkids hey they are just so hard to find.. Oh wait a minute.

The fact that we will become the first team to score by a margin of 3 goals for 4 consecutive matches in the EPL makes me feel we will win this by 2 goals only. Just our luck

definitely. In the SAF days, the Caf being happy with a line up would mean a disappointing draw. Then he’s name a midfield of Rafael, O’Shea, Gibson and Fabio against Arsenal and we’d tonk them without breaking sweat.

United 3-0 Chelsea with Giggs, Fletcher, Park in midfield is a classic version of this for me. Also vs Arsenal with the Da Silva twins in midfield flanking O’Shea and Gibson.

Unchanged again, easy win, 3 up early then subs galore. You love to see it
