I don’t even think it’s rust, I think it’s just that he’s fundamentally the exact opposite player who suits Ole’s playing style. Ole plays quick tempo direct football, and likes energy & dynamism in midfield. Van de Beek comes from the Ajax school of methodical, patient possession football.
