Reaction needed. 2-1 Win.
Mata and Donny to come in. Martial and Rashford drop out. Let’s have some technical players on the pitch instead of players running into blind alleys in every single attack
Front six of:
Fred
Donny Pogba
Mata Cavani Bruno
Yes I'd expect Ole to pick that team.
One of the worst refs in the league. At least his favourite Liverpool aren't playing.Referee Michael Oliver
Him and Atkinson are the refs I dread the most, bugger.Referee Michael Oliver
Sorry I just had to laugh at the words Martial & attacking presence in the same sentence after what I have seen from him recently
Him and Atkinson are the refs I dread the most, bugger.
Anyway, Fred and McT as the anchor, Martial relegated to the bench, Cavani up top with Pogba maybe wide left. Please win this, otherwise our season looks like it'll nosedive from a title challenge to battling for top 4.
This place getting a little too RAWKy.One of the worst refs in the league. At least his favourite Liverpool aren't playing.
I would be ruthless by leaving Tony at home to really make a statement that such a lack of workrate and effort won't be accepted
Agreed, saying no excuses for not winning this game is something I'd read on Rawk. Poor ball retention is one excuse for not winning some would say..This place getting a little too RAWKy.
I’d love for this... would love to see Amad come on for Greenwood at the 70-80 mark
Hendo
AWB - Bailly - Maguire - Shaw
Fred - mcTom
Greenwood Bruno VDB
Cavani
Sadly Lindelof and De Gea will start. I also Pogba and Rashford are a lock over VDB and Greenwood. Martial should not even make the match day squad.
Those days are over. Today's matches are very clean.I love this fixture. makes me feel like I'm 10 again and we're going to see Keane going after Veira in the tunnel.
good point.Agreed, saying no excuses for not winning this game is something I'd read on Rawk. Poor ball retention is one excuse for not winning some would say..
Good to hear another singing from the same hymn sheet regarding Tony
It must mean it’s bloody obvious what to do with him.
Obvious to mere fans like me and you but to Ole he won't just take him but wouldn't be in the least bit surprised he starts too
Looks a good team that. Only slight issue is McT and Fred together usually means we’re in for some fairly ragged spells and possession will be a bit lower with that pairing. I quite like Pogba starting from the right. He seems to enjoy it.I'd go for:
Henderson
AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw
Fred McTominey
Pogba Fernandes Rashford
Cavani
But, I'm sure DDG will play, which is OGS sending the message that serial bottlers are welcome in the team. Martial must be dropped from the squad and left at home.
We haven’t won against arsenal in the last 4 games. Surely this game is when the bubble burst and we will finally beat them, suit time to bounce back from the Sheffield United result. We rested 5 players from the Sheffield United for this match, that‘s why the win is important, come on!
Or maybe not...

Him and Rashford, both need to learn and wake up.I would be ruthless by leaving Tony at home to really make a statement that such a lack of workrate and effort won't be accepted

I'm not convinced this is true. We started a "weaker" team against Liverpool, too: no Bruno, no Fred, no De Gea (yeah yeah but Henderson doesn't exactly fill me with confidence either).Sheffield was the litmus test for what Ole can get away with if he fields a "weaker" team. It failed miserably, The horrifying part is that it wasnt even a weak team.
Good grief. Can see this ending very badly indeed. Especially with pussy boy Dave in goal.
