Lads calm the hell down. United are going to score. Nearly every game under ole, united come out with a bang in the second half. They've got this. So stop criticising every little bloody move and support the damn team!

Weird game, we've been sloppy, almost a bit lazy in parts yet have still created enough to score 2 or 3. Definitely still in this, be nice if our goalie stopped gifting the opponents goals.

Don’t understand this narrative. We’ve outplayed Arsenal, not the other way around. They’ve created no clear opportunities and their goal has come from a rare error from DDG. We’ve created 3/4, hitting the post twice.

Yeah, we have done well after a poor start. No need to panic, the midfield needs work though, without Herrera, Matic is laughably easy to get past.

Some observations over the past few games.

Rashford is entering a bit of a down-turn in form. He deserves credit for the big time penalty, but his general touch, decision making, shot selection have been poor in recent games. You can always tell because he starts swiping at shots on instinct. When he was hot on form he was placing shots more and had more focus. I'd bring Martial on if he doesn't improve 15 mins into the second half.

2nd balls are something I've noticed we've got a lot of improvement room in. Our counter-attacking is great when we do get the ball, however, if there's a 50/50 ball to be won we often are a little slower to win the loose ball than our opponents in general, which is what leads to us not having as much possession against big teams in the first place.

Goal aside, we've still been the most dangerous team in the game and created by far the best chances. On another day we could be two goals up by now. Arsenal haven't created much at all, which is great. We looked a little sloppy initially in defending high balls cleared, not winning second balls. Think I'd keep Fred on. He improved immensely in the 2nd half vs PSG.

Finally, Greenwood to come out last 10 mins and score the winner.

Even if we was to lose I can't see Arsenal going on any kind of run so I would still expect us to finish above them.

It's interesting reading the comments. Rashford this, Rashford that.

We need to relax. This is a difficult game. Arsenal have not been great, neither have we, and neither side are really dominating. Thing is, we are better than them, you can see it. We look slightly off it, the goal has shaken us a bit.

Need a good, robust team talk, telling them they have won nothing yet, and need to make something happen. Give them a decent half-time cuppa  and we will be ok IF, IF we want it. We can out play, and out-muscle this team. And we should have scored twice. Lukaku's miss from Shaw's cross set the tone. It was languid, sloppy, and had a touch of the arrogant about it.

I think we will be ok. And leave Rashford alone.. he isn't even playing badly, he's doing fine. Our midfield three need to be a little more snappy.

I expect a much better second half.

Wind changed the direction of the ball but we can be sure he'll get ton of abuse with lots of mentioning of his salary and similar bollocks.

He has switched powers with Lukaku. It is annoying how we cannot have them both on good form at the same time

Rashford has been down the middle a few times in patches whilst Lukaku drifts wide. Lukaku set up a brilliant chance for him too (it was good defending by Arsenal to get a touch out).

Rashford is just intent on giving the ball away however, and is often flat footed. He's just very much off par.

Rashford HAS to attack that pull back. It’s one thing to miscontrol the ball that can happen to everyone, but you can’t be so casual in that situation that would have been a goal of the season candidate.

Matic is a disaster in 2 man midfield. Have no idea why are we doing this. Just bring Martial and go 433 please

You know how to play against Arsenal at Emirates. Just pack the midfield and give them no space. Embarrassed we are bottling it.

Rashford looks off the pace, I'd get Martial on for him at half time, this Arsenal side aren't anything special, we can still turn this around.

I blame all you feckers who predicted us to win by 3 or 4 goals. You jinxed us. This was never going to be an easy game for us and those misses by Rom could potentially cost us top 4. I hope we do better in the second.

That injury against Liverpool has certainly brought a halt to Rashford's good form, he was quite poor Wednesday night as well. Agree that Martial is a change we need to make if the score line stays the same

It's a bit worrying why ole and team seem to get the initial tactics and selection wrong. While a change in tactics does happen, it does give an initial advantage to the opposition.

Annoying watch so far. We’ve had the best chances in the game. Need a bit of luck and we should get a result in the 2nd half. Let’s go boys!

I was worried we might not be able to focus after PSG.. I'm just hoping the lads have woken up now.

It's actually my fault cause I pointed out that if we win by 6 goals or more we go to 3rd, above Spurs on goal difference.

Big second half, Reds! Come on!
We did the impossible a few days ago; this is easy.

A bit, but at least he's quick to change things and isn't afraid to do so, that's just as important. If he sees things are wrong, he sorts it.
