Think Arsenal will be on revenge mode today.
Unfortunately I'm going 2-1 Arsenal.

Maybe not. Just feels like it with those wins under SAF too with those counter attack wins. I don't know the actual numbers. Curious what our record is for the last 13 yrs or so since 2006 when that team with Ronaldo and Rooney took off.We don’t actually have that good a record there. It’s a bit misleading since we’ve won under Jose and LVG

Played 14 at the Emirates - won 6, drawn 3, lost 5. That's a pretty good record to me, away from home to a team that until recently was consistently in the top 4.We don’t actually have that good a record there. It’s a bit misleading since we’ve won under Jose and LVG

Arsenal haven’t lost twice to the same opponents at home for a while
So given all that. I’m predicting a win for us!
I expect central players to perform better in Sbragia's system which favours players like Gomes. Chong has actually suffered due to playing under Sbragia and being isolated in many games without passing options. We don't exactly know Gomes' role yet. Nicky Butt mentioned that United see him as a midfielder tasked with keeping possession, but he plays as an attacker for the u23s and his brief first team appearances. So do we go with what Butt said and the five u19 appearances? Or do we go with where he plays outside of that?
Chong plays completely different from Gomes, and fits Ole's system better than Gomes. He's someone who will run at defenders non stop and he has more pace. Gomes is more of a patient cerebral player.
But it's pretty much a fact that Gomes has outperformed Chong for the youth teams this season. So it can't be based on their performances for the youth teams. Ole has yet to really watch a United youth match live. Maybe it is based on their trainings, but I struggle to see why that doesn't translate to the youth matches or the first team minutes. However brief it was for Gomes, he looked more composed than Chong did.

this
can't even argue with Lukaku playing central either such is the turn around in recent games.
Kane and Lukaku are very different players.Yes you can
Sokratis completely dominated Kane last week, we need to put a more skilful player against him/through the middle

Lukaku is far more explosive. He often runs in behind and at defenders. Rashford, as far as I'm concerned, still struggles against big physical defenders. Not really, Sokratis vs either equals a physical contest. Stick Rashford against him he'll have someone running at and behind him
the thing is for his recent goals I wouldn't even say Rom primarily relied on an element of skill. He was simply right place right time, with a superb finish. It's about finding the space and simply "shoot" as Ole would say. If he's out wide he'll have less chance of having that one "just shoot" chance.
So despite shuffling Rashford out wide, I do believe we have to stand by Rom's recent goal tally and let him have the middle.
Despite this they might even switch from time to time. If Arsenal turn up with a back 4 it'll be best to have Rashford left to get in behind their RB. If they do a back 5 it's going to be tough anyway but perhaps then it's best to have Rashford central. Small margins imo.
Don't forget Sokratis was the reason Arsenal lost 1-3 to Rennes the other day. He can be gotten at today.

go into it with hope. after all these weeks of fantastic results if we lose one...well we take it on the chin don't we!same
yeh that's not a description I'd associate with Rom, but it's definitely one I'd associate with RashYeah not seeing it

if this isn't the time to go into this with unwavering hope, then i don't know when is.
it's going to be a battle for sure as it's important. but they call it a 6 pointer yet we'd only be 3 behind them if we lost. it is not the be all and end all.
1-1 or 2-1 to us.
Lacazette, Rashford, (Lukaku)
