But his studs weren't up, it wasn't even a challenge, he was stood up stretching for the ball, the only reason it looked bad is because Bellerin was literally lying on the ground in his path while he was in a full sprint.

I can see why it's been given as a red, because it looked nasty, but the only way for Pogba to avoid stepping on Bellerin after he laid on the ground would be for one of them to suddenly cease to exist.

It doesn't matter. He put his studs on his leg and left them there. It's a red card. It might not be intentional, I'd like to think it wasn't, but it's a red. You can act as hysterical as you want about it, it doesn't change that.
