    1 - gets the ball
2 - has no where to land his foot other than where he did
3 - defender put himself in a bad position
4 - Pogba can't adjust as his foot as it's on it's way down in a fraction of a second

    ...easy appeal.

Anyone saying that is not a red knows nothing about the game , intentional or not it was a reckless tackle that deserved a red.

    Lol.

None of the referees have “played the game either” have a word with yourself.

Just saw the clip. That's a bad decision considering Bellerin's leg is laying on the floor. There's an argument to be made if it was intentional or malicious but you have to give the benefit of the doubt to player running in that instance. Bellerin is in the way, blocking his path, using his body to block Pogba's stride. It would require Pogba to jump over his leg in order to avoid contact, which is something he could do but shouldn't be expected to. Yellow at worst.

No it has to be out of control, which he wasnt, he couldnt avoid the contact with the position the defemder ended up in.

The defender leg was down there before he stretched studs up, he was only ever going to end up standing on him. So its careless

That's a harsh red. It's not like he could do anything about it either, he was going full speed.

Time for Mkhitaryan to step up against City....doubt it though! :(

Calling it - DDG is better than Schmeichel and VDS given the shit he’s had to work with

Mariner doing what he can to get Arsenal back in the match.

Explain the 3 mins stoppage time in the first half. There is rarely more than 2 mins unless a major stoppage.

Accident, but still a red I think. He stretched at full speed so it's a little unlucky but if you get those wrong you have to live with the consequences.

To say he intended to do that is just ridiculous though. It is totally out of character for him to do anything of the sort.

I can't believe some people are saying it's not a red card. If an oppo player stuck their sruds on the leg of one of ours players and left them there we'd all be calling for their head. Take your tinted specs off. Pogba is the one we should be annoyed at, not the ref.

It was def a red but I'm not sure Pogba could have done an awful lot to avoid that.

"Those men were just standing in the way of my bullets is all."

Accidental or not, the way he hit Bellerin's leg leaves absolutely no room for a rescinded red card. He's out for three games.

    This is stupid logic.

Just because something similar would happen to our player doesn't mean we (or at least myself...can't speak for everyone) would react differently.

I call a spade a spade and it was not red card worthy. Proof? Just wait until it gets appealed.

Exactly, I really don’t understand this behaviour. This situation is completely out doing. That was a borderline stamp.

    He shouldn't have clapped tho.

So is jesse lingard the next messi?

Also, herrera trying step overs 5 yards outside our area.... i don't even...

He wears a United badge.....they are never going to take back that red.
