First game in a while where I don’t feel confident.

I don’t think Milan are all that, and the praise they got last week was over the top IMO, but I’m worried about our ability to get a goal in this match.

    Hopefully I’m wrong.

I just feel like this will be Greenwood’s day.

People forget that Europa gets you pot 1 of CL. Which means we would avoid having the hardest group like this season.

No excuses to get knocked out

Excited for this game now today. I'm surprised I'm saying that about a Europa League game.

    Looking forward to this!

One of the things that's giving me confidence is that we'll almost certainly need at least 2 goals tonight to go through. With that in mind, we sort of have a pass at conceding 2 - if you get my logic. win 2-0 or draw 2-2, we still go through.

I hope we really go at them tonight, similar way they did to us last week.

It's really interesting watching these European two-legged knock-out ties this season. With no fans/home advantage, the ball is really in the away team's court. It basically switches the normal home/away advantages from previous seasons.

Bit worried with Zlatan being fit for this one if I am being honest however we can't be worse than last weeks showing surely ?

Big blow also not having Cavani with us also but I think Pogba being back is a massive boost for morale in the squad, I really feel we should do what we do best and attack them,

This is a massive game in our season. It will be a major blow to exit the competition here considering this is one of the trophies we have a good chance of winning.
Nerves are starting to jangle already. Defining moment in our season, praying we overcome Milan and go on a good run of form for the remaining months.

They caused us some trouble last week with long balls from deep, straight down our centre back's throats, so we need to be very alert for second balls if Zlatan is playing because he will win the ball and flick on to any runners around him.

Sticking a tenner on Milan to go through, that should see us get the job done.

yes because we do so well in the high pressure, must win games..

We do. Semi finals is the not the only must win game, run up to semi finals every game is a must win. Going by your logic, any team that doesn't win cup doesn't do well in high pressure, must win games.

So either say it's a breeze and 1-4 or don't watch the game? I'm massively excited about the game, but struggle to find anything that points to a big win like that tonight.

Your post didnt portray the image of someone who is excited for the game, fair do's!

We have to score, which should suit us. Go out and attack them, they're not that good.

All well and good provided we can actually score twice ourselves. With finishing like we saw in the first leg, I’d be worried. It can’t happen again though, surely?

    Henderson
    AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw
    McT Fred
    James Bruno Rashford
    Greenwood

Pogba and Cavani to have an impact of the bench.

Think de gea, VDB, Pogba and Cavani then all start against Leicester.

Might as well have Ole on the bench instead of Cavani because Cavani didn't travel.

Cavani withdrew unfortunately as didn't feel right.

Line-ups according to today's La Gazzetta dello Sport

    Cattura2.png

Unavailable players: Calabria, Rebic, Mandzukic, Maldini, Rafael Leao; Cavani, Martial, Bailly, Mata, Jones
Risk of suspension: Donnarumma, Romagnoli, Saelemakers; Lindelof, Maguire, McTominay, Williams

Not confident at all about us.. Calabria is a big absence first of all, Dalot is not as good as him. They miss 2 important players upfront but we're in an even worse situation: Mandzukic, Rebic, Rafael Leao not available and our whole attack on the shoulders of a 39 y.o. player who's not even fully fit and won't be able to play more than 60 minutes..

No need to throw away even a pence.
Calabria, Rebic, Leao and Romagnoli won't even make it to the bench tonight.
An unfit Zlatan and unfit Kjaer will probably be rushed back into the team due to the crisis.
Barely any of the starters are free from fitness problems.

As a Milan fan I just hope this won't be another huge embarrassing loss. You'll face Milan at our worst.

    Hoping for this.

Marcus and Mason as wide forwards.
Bruno as a 10/false 9 with some responsibilites on the right side, and Pogba as AM with some responsibility on the left side.
Fred as the engine/ball winner in the midfield, and Matic as the DM/shield.
Shaw as the offensive, creative full back, Spider-Wan as a defensive full back (going forward when needed/possible, of course.)
