Liverpool FC nicknamed The Reds are an English professional football club based in Liverpool, England; and were originally founded in 1892 as Everton Football Club and Athletic Grounds Company plc, before finalizing on the name Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Ltd after a dispute between the Everton FC board and John Houlding, the owner of Everton's former premise at Anfield Road. One of the most successful and storied clubs in the history of European football, Liverpool have won 18 English league titles, 5 European Cups, 7 FA Cups, and 8 League Cups, peaking in the 1970s and 1980s, first under the enigmatic Bill Shankly, and then his 'Boot Room' successors. Although Liverpool's fortunes as a domestic and European force have dwindled in the past 25 seasons, they still have a massive global support-base; and share two fierce historic rivalries - with crosstown rivals Everton FC (The Merseyside Derby); and Manchester United (who ironically rose back into consistent title-winning prominence as Liverpool declined).

No way we're getting a result at Anfield, regardless of how dire Pool are.

We just threw away a 2 goal lead against a relegation team that hadn't scored in 4 games.

    2-0 would be my call.

This is a new United. No more goal less draws!

    4-4.

I expect nothing from this squad. If you do the same you won't feel so bad after.

They could be 1 point behind us after this game.

Oh wait no, they have a game in hand v Arsenal. They could go above us FFS.

last chance saloon, lose this and he has to go.

They're awful. We're awful. Newcastle are awful. Who knows what will happen. It'll either be 0-0 or 5-2 to someone or other.

Yeah this is going no going to be fun. Klopp makes them turn up for the big fixtures atleast.

I will eat my hat if we win this one, even if it is against a Liverpool side with no centrebacks. Such is our luck that Caulker will turn into the reincarnation of Nesta and score a last minute winner.

I can see Liverpool winning this 2-1.

What kind of team will they be putting out with all those injuries?

1-0 United. No chance Van Gaal will set the team up like he did tonight against our biggest rival, knowing his job is now probably on the line.

Think scousers will win it, but Louis will still be in charge. Sad times...

We're going to get absolutely smashed.

Relentless pressing will cause us to crumble.

Hard to say but I think Henderson, Ibe, Sakho and possibly Lovren will be back by Sunday. Maybe something like:

    Mignolet

    Clyne
    Toure
    Sakho
    Moreno

    Lucas
    Can
    Henderson

    Ibe
    Lallana/Milner
    Firmino

Caulker will probably play against Arsenal tomorrow but he'd probably be behind the likes of Sakho and Lovren if they're fit. I'm going to assume Sturridge is still injured because it's his thing since Suarez left.

I wouldn't be too worried going into this if I were you. I'm not sure where our goals will come from and we're not particularly good at the back either. Out of the players listed in my team above only Firmino (1), Milner (2) and Henderson (1) have scored in the league this season. A draw wouldn't surprise me.

Not as bad as of a lineup as I thought.

Even if we lose, he stays.

Even if we win, it won't be pretty.

Current United is the definition of purgatory.

That attack looks awful. Defence doesn't look too good either. I was expecting us to lose for sure before but now I'm sure we will get a good draw

If they come out and attack from the off, we are buggered. We can't cope when teams attack us for 90 minutes.

Get Martial right up top with Rooney and get him running at their calamitous defence.

Normally I'd expect us to lose because it's at Anfield and our current form, but Liverpools team is laughably bad, especially with all their injuries. So I'm going to go for a draw. Even all their players who are close to returning or might be back aren't fully match fit and are more just hopes to make it, so I can't see Klopp playing all of them.

Whoever wins here though will be the one to finish above the other (and finish 5th or 6th or whatever, neither will get top 4 unless there's a drastic change, be it new manager or signings). Anyway, prediction is:

    De Gea
    Darmian Smalling Blind Young
    Schneiderlin Carrick
    Lingard Herrera Martial
    Rooney
Just please no Fellaini is all I ask for.

Shit against shit, so it's probably down to details. Don't forget, we lost 2-0 in Newcastle only a couple of weeks ago.
