Swansea City AFC nicknamed The Swans, or The Jacks (the reason behind the latter is unclear, but there are two possible origins: one is the reputation of local seamen "Jack Tars" in the early 19th Century, while the other is the black retriever dog called Swansea Jack who rescued no fewer than 27 people from drowning in the River Tawe and Swansea Docks during the 1930s) are a Welsh professional football club based in Swansea, Wales; and were founded in 1912 as Swansea Town. In 2011 Swansea City became the first Welsh football club to gain promotion to the Premier League, and have since built a firm reputation as one of the most attack minded clubs in the league professing an attractive brand of football, starting with now Everton manager Roberto Martinez in League One, a tradition that continues to the present day under Alan Curtis.

I'd make one change. Jones in for Mata, with Young moving to right wing. Don't think we need Mata cutting in with a midfield three of Schneiderlin, Schweinstieger and Herrera. They're more than capable of keeping the ball. We need width on both sides. Against Chelsea, we looked dangerous when we created 2v1's on the left with Martial and Darmian/CBJ, where we got to the byline and crossed it or cut inside and shot.

    De Gea
    Darmian Smalling Jones Blind
    Schneiderlin Schweinsteiger
    Young Herrera Martial
    Rooney

First win after 8 fecking games. Should be with a new coach hopefully.
December has fecking gone let's start the year with a win.

If we can't beat fecking swansea at Old Trafford, and show a bit of attacking intent...

    De Gea
    Young Smalling Blind Darmian
    Schneiderlin Herrera
    Rooney Mata Memphis
    Martial
More what I want with a mixture of what LvG would do. Last week I thought I would be amazed if he was still our manager by the time this game came around, but at this point, nothing would surprise me.

    De Gea
    Young-Smalling-Blind-Darmian
    Schneiderlin-Schweinsteiger
    Mata-Herrera-Martial
    Rooney

subs: Romero, Jones, CBJ, Carrick, Fellaini, Pereira, Memphis

Or put in Jones for Schweinsteiger. Play Schneiderlin-Herrera in the middle, Jones at the back and Young on the right wing.

Our longest win-less streak is 16 back in 1930. Think we can beat it!

    As for a result we'll win 0-0.

Van Gaal still going to be in charge for this. The farce that is Manchester United

The most winnable game we've encountered for a while, and that says a lot

If we don't win this, then my brain wouldn't be able to compute. Play like we did just now, and we should win.

Gomis and Ayew will tear us apart somehow, oh and Ki will score too probably, the fecker.

People forget we have lost all three to Swansea under LvG, and this is the sort of game we could well struggle in.

    1-1.

I'm sorry but as long as LVG is around I have no confidence any more. Could be 6 in a row. Hard to imagine.

Monk is gone, so we can beat them now, I guess?

But of course we need to score to achieve that.

It might piss off the muppets, but I think United will win this, and hopefully it will kickstart a good January for us. And I hope January includes at least one intro in the transfers...

Swansea have seemed to have our number in recent times but we simply have to win this one. Tentatively going to predict a 1-0 for us.

This is the most obvious 1-2 ever. We are piss poor and Swansea are our bogey team.

I think this will be the magic game, the game where we manage to score a goal. Also, we have DDG.

1-0 it is, then. Goal scored by .... Smalling, perhaps?

    De Gea
    Darmian Smalling Jones Blind
    Schneiderlin Carrick
    Herrera
    Young Martial Pereira

Comfortable win to drag us out of our slump in form.

Swansea won't be the soft touch Chelsea were, they have a more mobile and aggressive midfield that will put more pressure on the ball and make it much harder for Rooney and Schweini who pretty much had the freedom of the park today.

Fortunately like us they don't create much and haven't got much firepower, so we should be able to get another 0-0.

It'll be another 0-0 borefest and LVG will still have his fecking job because our club is run by a bunch of incompetent assholes.

    Can't fecking wait.
