Stoke City Football Club nicknamed The Potters are a professional football club based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Stoke City founded was Stoke Ramblers in 1863 when pupils of Charterhouse School formed a football club while apprentices at the North Staffordshire Railway Works works in Stoke-on-Trent; and the club changed its name to Stoke City in 1925 after Stoke-on-Trent was granted city status. They are the second oldest professional football club in the world, after Notts County, and are one of the 12 founding members of the Football League which was founded in 1888. Although Stoke haven't enjoyed a lot of title-winning success in their 150 year old existence, they have fielded the likes of Stanley Matthews, Gordon Banks, Alan Hudson and Dennis Violett through the years. Stoke's most prominent rivalries include Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Bromwich Albion, and local club Port Vale. Stoke they play their home games at Britannia Stadium.

It will be like the scousers there last season.
I have been defaulting to 0-0 in the prediction for the last couple of months but I don't even think we can manage that any more.

We can win this. If Palace can, so can we.

I just can't see where our next win is coming from, just don't have enough shots on target to win games and teams just bypass our midfield like it's not even there (99% of the time no one is there)

Lol we wont get anything out of this game. Then we have a rejuvenated Chelsea next. Fun times ahead!!!

Depending on who our manager is by then will dictate how much we lose by

    67-33 possession in our favour.
We'll fashion 2 shots on target.
    Lose 2-1.

Morgan will be back, Herrera is fit to start, Smalling,Rooney have a game under them.. We'll win but it's gonna be a tough one.

We conceded two against Norwich, will be interesting to see how we fare against Arnautovic, Bojan and Shaqiri, who dominated City.

If LVG remains until the end of the season even Chelsea will finish ahead of us. No way we're winning this one with him in charge.

If LVG is in charge, I can't see us getting a single point.
    1-0 or 2-1 (Stoke - MUFC).

We can't score more than 1 goal unless OG makes an appearance and we just can't rely on OG.
If our opponent scores 2 goals, our player capitulate as they know they don't have the ability to score 2 goals.

If Van Gaal is gone, then I think we'll win. If he's here, then 0-0 or a loss.

    De Gea
    Darmian Smalling Jones Blind
    Carrick Schneiderlin
    Herrera Mata Memphis
    Martial

Tough game, especially with their front three, and their ability to counter. I'd play:

    De Gea
    Young Smalling Jones Blind
    Schneiderlin
    Herrera Fellaini
    Rooney Martial Depay

    3-1 Stoke
And I've come to truely believing it which is sad for a club like United.

It's going to be a massacre, and a newly revitalised Chelsea will dick us a few days later. Today was the must-win easy game to get a bit of confidence back. Failed.

Can't see how we can win. Can't see how we can stop them. Can't see where our goals can come from. Yuck.

    jesus this is bad.

don't think I've ever seen something like this even with only 37 votes.

Lots of people going for the Stoke win, but I think this is a dead cert 1-1. Either way, it's not good enough for Manchester United.

    de Gea
    Young Smalling Jones Blind
    Carrick Fellaini Schneiderlin
    Martial Rooney Memphis

    De Gea
    Young--Jones--Smalling--Blind
    Schneiderlin--Carrick
    Herrera--Rooney--Memphis
    Martial

Actually looking forward to the game. Not even sure why.

Best scenario would be a draw. Stoke has pace and trickery to hurt us so much.

    I'd take a 1-0 loss right now.
I can't help but feel that Stoke will use us to improve their goal difference and I wouldn't want us to give more than 1 goal to them.
Also, it will help protect our own goal difference, should it come to that, at the end of the season.
I know his is terribly pessimistic but after predicting wins at our home games (and in us losing/drawing), I have to accept reality.
