Association Football Club Bournemouth nicknamed The Cherries, and Boscombe; are a professional football club based in Bournemouth, Dorset. The exact date of the club's foundation is not known, but there is proof that it was formed as Bascombe FC in the autumn of 1899 out of the remains of the older Boscombe St. John's Lads’ Institute FC. Nicknamed The Cherries (Dean Court was built adjacent to the Cooper-Dean estate, which encompassed numerous cherry orchards), the team traditionally played in red shirts with white sleeves until 1971, when the strip was changed to red and black stripes, similar to that of AC Milan. Bournemouth have spent 69 seasons in the second division of English football, and this is their first season of participation in the top tier of English football. Bournemouth's most prominent rivalries include Brighton & Hove Albion, Reading FC and Southampton FC; and they play their home games at Dean Court, Bournemouth.

We're screwed with no defenders again. No doubt this is when we'll start scoring goals too.

Can't see us winning this being low on morale. Maybe if we were at home. Smalling injured now though. Who the feck is going to play?
    De Gea
    Varela Carrick Blind CBJ
    ???? Schweiny
    Lingard Mata Memphis
    Martial
Midfield spot goes to whoever is fit between Herrera and Schneiderlin. If neither, then Fellaini I guess reluctantly.

Stop this Lingard and Memphis bullshit. Go back to what was working towards the end of last season.

    DDG
    Varela McNair Blind CBJ
    Carrick
    Mata Rooney BFS Young
    Martial

Or something very similar. Slot in Herrera if he's back.

The way Bournemouth play will cause us a lot of problems

Anyone who has a go will beat us at the moment

Anyone who fancies a 0-0 gets one

We're getting feck all from this. I don't know what the hell sort of team we're going to put out. We're a bit of a mess at the moment.

Seeing Mata and Martial on people lineups. Aren't they injured?

    Hope he doesn't play a 3-5-2

Wouldn't mind seeing a very young team, only them and DDG can hold their heads high today

Mata for Pereira maybe, but I'm not sure as the midfield is too light atm

    Team should be

    GK: De Gea

    RB: Valera
    CB: McNair
    CB: Blind
    LB: Jackson

    CM: Carrick
    CM: Mata
    CM: Fellaini

    RW: Lingard
    CF: Martial
    LW: Memphes

That's assuming no one currently injured return. Feck me

I hope Jones and Herrera are back. We need them. The kids were good tonight, but the next game they could just as easily be terrible.

Think team is thin on the ground. Especially concerned for Mike

Can't predict a line-up. I think we might have to take to the streets and ask people if they would be interested in playing for Manchester United.

Not sure we have any players left.

you not joking right? seriously how can anyone think about fellaini starting another game after another horrible performance.. it should defo be pereira or anybody even young there.

would be interesting to see who plays centerback next game but proly be mcnair and blind and CBJ on the left varela on the right..

Play like we did today and we will win, it will be entertaining but we should have enough quality even with the injuries.

If we try and play keep-ball Bournemouth will counter us and win 1-0

Van Gaal says Darmian hamstring and Smalling groin. Can't expect either to be fit.

So, worst case scenario is the following players are out:

    Shaw
    Darmian
    Smalling
    Valencia
    Jones
    McNair
    Rojo
    Herrera
    Schneiderlin
    Schweinsteiger
    Rooney

Not sure what that leaves us with.

    De Gea
    Varela Tuanzebe Blind Young
    Carrick Fellaini
    Lingard Mata Memphis
    Martial

Let's hope De Gea is on form...

    De Gea

    McNair. Carrick Blind

    Varela schwein schneid young
    Mata

    Martial. Lingard

Smalling's injury is a big blow, hopefully it'll only be a 2 week deal. I am guessing the 2 young fullbacks will play and unfortunately so will Fellaini unless Ander makes a miraculous recovery that isn't in need of match rhythm nonsense before he can play.

Varela and CBJ should be certs to start imo. Thought they both did well tonight.

A back line of Varela, McNair, Blind, and CBJ. Bloody injuries.

Tough one until we get the presser on Friday for injury updates. Rooney, Herrera, and Jones all have slim chances to be ready I believe, though I think (probably with the exception of Rooney) that they'd start on the bench if fit. I'd also guess that only one of them will make it. It also doesn't help that Schweinsteiger will probably be suspended.

    de Gea
    Varela McNair Blind Borthwick-Jackson
    Carrick Fellaini
    Lingard Mata Memphis
    Martial

Can't see much else being viable. Rooney, Young, Herrera, Jones, Powell, Pereira, Goss, Rashford etc all possible bench options.

Bournemouth do have 9 injuries as well like us, so we'll just have to deal with it. Any win will do here and against Norwich - then, hopefully we'll have some more players back for Stoke and Chelsea.

    De Gea
    Varela--McNair--Blind--CBJ
    Carrick--Fellaini
    Lingard--Mata--Memphis
    Martial

if no-one is back from injury then that's the team I would play. I think Herrera might be back and possibly Schneiderlin/Rooney. If Rooney is back then put him on the bench & if Schneiderlin is back start him with Herrera and put Carrick at CB.

We ll probably stick Carrick to CB. Play a midfield of Fellaini and Bastian (if he doesnt get banned).
And for the result. Anything could happen. We might totally lose it or may just nick it..
