West Bromwich Albion Football Club (nicknamed West Brom, The Baggies, The Throstles, Albion or simply WBA), are a professional football club based in West Bromwich, West Midlands. The club that became West Bromwich Albion was formed in 1878 by a group of young workers at the George Salter Springs factory, appropriate for a club whose terrace celebration would more than a century later become "boing boing". They were renamed West Bromwich Albion in 1880, becoming the first team to adopt the Albion suffix. Just eight years after forming, in 1886 they became the first team from the Midlands to reach an FA Cup final, losing in a replay to Blackburn Rovers. Albion were also among the inaugural 12 members of the Football League in 1888, winning our first game, 2-0 at Stoke's Victoria Ground.

All in all they have one League title win, 5 FA Cup wins, and one League Cup win to their name. Even though West Brom have spent the majority of their history in the top-flight of English football, when the FA Premier League was founded in 1992 the club found themselves in the third tier, and have negotiated periodic relegation-promotion oscillations to the Premier League ever since. West Brom play their homes games at The Hawthorns, and have long-standing rivalries with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Probably back to shit and more infighting between the ole in and ole out crowd.

Bruno is key and the reason Ole has a job, not just this season but the last also.

First real test for Ole this.

No need for McTominay in a game like this. It also seems that Shaw might be injured for this one.

    AWB--Lindelof--Maguire--Telles
    Fred--Pogba
    Greenwood--Bruno--Rashford

Looking forward to seeing Telles as he'll surely start if Shaw's injury is as bad as Ole said

Exactly the sort of game he’d stroll around- give the ball away and cause us to drop points...
That was my thought exactly. Rather play McTominay and put Pogba on with half an hour left to play and WBA tired from intensive press first half.

Indeed buying more time for Ole, after this game and then another losing game vs IB where again Demba Ba exploited our defense, and a draw vs current PL leader Southampton.
I think if we´d had played that game again, same line-up, same tactics, we would win 9 out of 10. We´ll smash them at OT.

Surely this is a game we can go on all out attack mode? Only one DM needed (Fred or Matic) with VDB and Bruno ahead of them and a 3-man forward line. They'll be sitting back anyway so why not keep battering them at full pelt. Telles should mean more full back creativity and better crosses. Easy peasy, goal difference resetting win!

Now would be a perfect time for one of Ole's unbeaten runs. From now until the end of the year please. I doubt it, but it could happen. He's done it before. Everything will be forgiven then.

Pointless international games in already packed schedule. Hope none of our players play

No VdB in this game, and then the Istanbul home game, will be nothing short of a disgrace.

    AWB Lindelof Maguire Telles
    Fred
    Bruno VdB
    Greenwood Cavani Rashford

Play this team, and we’ll win 5-0. West Brom are shocking. Get the first goal and this will be the easiest game of the season.

Telles has to start. That cameo at PSG was very promising. A pinpoint crosser would serve us well.

Think i'd like to see a 4-3-3 with DVB and Fernandes ahead of Fred on this one.

We need to be on the front foot, WBA are awful.

Manager buys player, player plays well for said manager, we use that as a stick to beat the manager with? Petty.

He’s still in a job because he finished third and despite the hysteric fan reactions we are early days into a weird season with no pre-season where Southampton are top of the league!

Difficult to predict the line-up before the International's are played and Ole has already cast doubts on the fitness of Shaw, Rashford and Lindelöf. I just hope Ole can keep the system he wants. West Brom are a poor side so we should win but they'll no doubt park the bus which is our achillies heel.

I'm hopeful that Solskjaer is being a bit clever here and trying to get Rashford out of playing the international games.
Normally I enjoy watching United players play for England but given our schedule and Southgates snoreball tactics I'd prefer our players get a rest.
