Leicester City Football Club (nicknamed The Foxes, The Blues, City, and Blue Army), are a professional football club based in Leicester. Leicester City was founded in 1884 by a group of old boys of Wyggeston School as Leicester Fosse, before joining the Football Association in 1890. In 1919, when League football resumed after World War I, Leicester Fosse ceased trading due to financial difficulties of which little is known. The club was reformed as Leicester City Football Club, particularly appropriate as the borough of Leicester had recently been given city status.

Leicester City have enjoyed moderate success through the years - winning 3 League Cups, and reaching the final of the FA Cup 4 times - prior to their odds-defying Premier League title win in 2015/16. Leicester City's most prominent rivals are Nottingham Forest, Coventry City and Derby County, and they have been playing their home games at The King Power Stadium (originally named Filbert Way) since 2002.

Can't see anything but a Leicester win.

Surely we can win this ? I mean surely ? We usually beat them at home without much trouble.

Hope Martial is back and hope no injuries during the International break

I hope you are right and I am wrong. I’m not holding much hope after that poor Southampton performance. Leicester are a better team than Southampton and if we are as poor on the ball as we were today, it won’t surprise me if Leicester win this game.

Leicester have a better midfield than us:

    McTominay Pogba
    Mata

    Maddison
    Ndidi Tielemans

Leicester's midfield always gets hyped. Truth is that it's not that special at all. Maddison still dwells too much on the ball, Tielemans is bang average and Ndidi is very limited on the ball.

It'll be a draw. We'll take the lead, let them back in through our own stupidity and be unable to unlock their defence late on.

Based on performances so far, I would personally like to see some adjustments.

Would be good to see Pogba pushed up front to no 10.

Maybe Lingard on the right with Mason Greenwood coming on as a sub.

James on the left with Rashford coming on as a sub.

Martial to start up front if he is fit.

McTominay partnered with either Fred or Matic.

AWB to stay back when in possession to cover Lindelof and one of the midfielders (Probably McTominay) to push forward instead.

If Lindelof still proves a liability in the air with Bissaka covering him, probably Tuanzebe should step in after that.

    Just my 2 cents.

    De Gea
    Wan Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Young
    McTominay Fred
    James Pogba Rashford
    Martial

Should be an entertaining game tbf. Think we'll win though by a couple. Definitely important to bounce back with a result already after fecking up our last 3 games that we should have won. Going to take a bit of time for Gomes/Greenwood to become more involved in the first team, but think we'll see a lot more of it come the carabao cup/europa league games and then if/when they impress in those, they'll get more starts in the league. It'll come, but til then, will likely be the standard lineups.

Was just thinking about Maguire/Leicester and his move to our very weak United squad. Hopefully he won't regret it and we can start climbing the table with a win.

    De Gea
    Wan Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Young
    McTominay Fred
    James Pogba Rashford
    Martial
This is our best 11 in my opinion (replace Young with Shaw), if we could stick to that front 4 the goals would come. McTominay should sit and hold as he can spread play where possible effectively and Fred to go box-to-box.

Oh it's that City. I thought it was Man City. Must admit I am slightly relieved.

Truely hope you still think this is right after the Leicester game. Not only do I think you are wrong about the midfield but I reckon their strikers, whoever they play, will show ours up. Like it or not they have not undergone the massive change of personnel and style that we have and are thus a much better and more settled team. Can't see us getting anything better than a draw, if we are lucky.

Maddison, Tielemans and Ndidi are all upgrades on any of our midfielders except Pogba.

Don’t see us winning this game but with tough few games to come we desperately need a win. Leicester are one of the teams I can see edging us out of top six.

Is Shaw out for this too?

We'll win.. I feel for Leicester.. but they're getting spanked.

433 - keep Lindeolf and Lingard away from the team they always ruin things.
    DDG
    AWB Tuanzebe Maguire Young
    McTominay Fred Pogba
    Rashford Martial James

Play pogba further up, have 2 mids behind him, don't play lingard and maybe replace victor with axel then we have a chance.

After an international break Ole will start the same team he views as his best XI. So the same team as vs Palace barring any additional injuries and obviously Young for Shaw.

I would like to see Martial back up top, James left and Rashford right if he is going to persist with this. But Mata is the only option at #10 other than Lingard and he took Lingard out of the firing squad today. Ole has already said Pogba has to play a different role this season so he will be locked in that midfield two with little success. There really aren’t many other options given the clear out after the transfer window closed.

It's a must win even this early! Cannot drop any points in this game at all.
If we get 2 goals we win?
It's getting 2 is the issues?

Finally making the trip to Old Trafford from the US for the first time, but I have no expectation that we'll win. It should be the highlight of my trip, but I'm having a hard time mustering lots of enthusiasm at the moment.

Going to see United expecting them to lose is a miserable experience.

Who cares. I've reached this point already. I actually can't be fecked to pin any hopes on matches. Our team is shite and Ole has too much faith in average players.

Will be my first visit over to Old Trafford since watching us lose 1-0 to Barcelona and not create a single shot on target in April.

7 points already dropped in a disappointing start to the season and Leicester are every bit as good if not better than the teams United have played so far. Remember they drew with Liverpool in Anfield and it took a wonder strike for Man City to beat them at home last season.

Solid Keeper and defence with Ndidi protecting their back four. The likes of Tielemans,Maddison,Vardy will cause us plenty of problems.

I'd take and be delighted with any type of win for United (due a lucky win for once) but i fear more points will be dropped in this match.

I just noticed there is an international break before this match.

Thank God! May this break never end.

I'm already dreading this game. If we don't turn up they'll punish us. There's too much quality in that team for us to feck about.

We got two weeks to get the gameplan on point.

Hopefully getting Martial back so he can lead the line.

James to the left, Greenwood right.
    Mata behind.

    Pogba - Mctom.

    We can do it.

Hard to predict with us being so erratic and the fact Leicester are a good side who play good attacking football and they will carry a real threat, hopefully Martial is back for this.
