Fulham Football Club (also known as The Cottagers or The Whites), is a professional association football club based in Fulham, West London, England. Fulham were formed in 1879 as Fulham St Andrew's Church Sunday School F.C., founded by worshipers (mostly adept at cricket) at the Church of England on Star Road, West Kensington (St Andrew's, Fulham Fields). Fulham's mother church still stands today with a plaque commemorating the team's foundation. They won the West London Amateur Cup in 1887 and, having shortened the name from Fulham Excelsior to its present form in 1888, they then won the West London League in 1893 at the first attempt.

Fulham started playing at their current ground at Craven Cottage in 1896, their first game against now defunct rivals Minerva. Fulham are one of the oldest established clubs in southern England currently playing professional football, though there are many non-league sides like Kent side Cray Wanderers who are several decades older. The club gained professional status on 12 December 1898, the same year that they were admitted into the Southern League's Second Division. They were the second club from London to turn professional, following Arsenal, then named Royal Arsenal 1891.

After suffering relegation to The Championship in 2013, Fulham have been on a road to recovery and were promoted to the Premier League on 26 May 2018, by winning 1–0 in the 2018 EFL Championship play-off Final against Aston Villa. Fulham fans consider their main rivals to be Chelsea, followed by Queens Park Rangers. They also have rivalries with other London clubs, including Brentford and Crystal Palace.

Our 2nd XI should be able to beat Fulham. Rest everyone for PSG.

Unbeaten in a 11 ties against Fulham. Winning 9, drawing 2. One of which was the infamous 2-2 Moyes-ball match featuring a thousand cross'.
Last League defeat was in 2009.Lost that game 3-0.Murphy,Zamora and Duff were on the scoresheet that day.

Grinded out a few results, now time to hammer them! We do have to keep in mind that we have PSG a few days later so might see some rotation, or hopefully we get a quick lead and can rest players like Pogba in the 2nd half. Maybe see Dalot come in for this? Young got ran ragged today so might be good to rest him. Fred in for Herrera too, need him at his fittest for PSG.

Must win. These lot are actual shite. Please don't let Babel score against us.

They'll definitely put a hell of fight against us for relegation battle but we should win this comfortably at least by 2 goals.

Have Martial, Pogba and Rashford on the bench but effectively rest 10 key players for PSG.

Got to rest Matic for this one.

That's not a cup game mate.

tricky line up to plan out knowing that the psg game is coming up after

5 changes from today. some big games coming up afterwards.

Yes Im aware, but the point is, we are looking spent towards end of games, so I would prioritise the PSG game over this one, were I feel a 2nd team could get a result against Fulham.

It's not gonna be easy. They're fighting for relegation and will put 200% against us. Winning this will probably put us 4th before facing Liverpool. We should go with our best lineup and start resting players in second half.

Need to make some changes for this one considering the PSG game and that we've looked tired recently.

Fulham are absolutely awful, should be a standard win and a clean sheet.

We can’t possibly do this when we are in the middle of a top 4 race.

    What is this?

We're fighting for top 4 now, have some of you forgotten that?

I understand what you are saying and we have a really good first 11, but a few of the younger ones haven't got great stamina. We cant compete on three fronts with 11 flagging players, we have to prioritise. We need to be fresh for PSG, Chelsea & Liverpool coming up.

Matic needs a match off most certainly, so Herrera is to play his role, with Fred as box to box. Young needs to be benched after such "performance"...

Fulham are proper shite and we should beat them even if we're at our worst.

We are still in the race for top four!!!!!!!!! Wow. What am I seeing??? This is to embarrassing!!!

In all seriousness, I believe one or both of our fullbacks needs to rested. And maybe Matic or Herrera. Early substitution is needed, so hopefully we can come out aggressively and have this won by half time.

Even so, you can't bring all those kids and changes then expect to compete well in the premiere league. We've just had an incident where we tweeked a bit against a team that everyone thought should be a banker regardless of team put out there and ended up dropping points at home.

Should win this at a canter, really. Start with Martial, Pogba and Rashford, but bring them off once we're sure of the result.

We need to rest Matic fully for this one, Young too.

Matic must rest. He has been playing a lot recently. Young must rest too, he ain't that young. Herrera already rested last game so he should be fine. Pogba has to deal with it, our creativity suffers when he is not playing.

Best thing is to be 2 goals up and then rest Pogba in the last 30 minutes.

We need to finish the game by 60 mins and give Pog a rest.

This. Start a strong eleven, take players off if we are 2 goals clear.

How did Lampard play 3 seasons straight without resting or getting injured?

They are sh*te. I’d rotate but not as heavily as some on here.

I think we said the same thing about Burnley.

Burnley were 3-1-0 from their last 4 league games, including beating Fulham. Fulham have lost 4 of their last 5.
