Need some fresh players for this, but probably unlikely the likes of Fellaini or Herrera will be back.
    Can see another away draw.

Don't see us winning this unless some players come back from injury.

Hopefully we see di Maria and Herrera on the bench at least. Fellaini would be useful in this game but seems he's out.

With shaw and Rafael back, we might go to a back 4 again.

    Hopefully:

    De Gea

    Rafael Jones Smalling Shaw

    Carrick

    Someone Rooney

    Mata

    Van Persie Falcao

away game? depends on how we start the game:

    1) If we start like how we did against spurs and dominate the game, we will either draw or lose
    2) if we struggle at the start like arsenal or soton, we will win.

I think the likely outcome will be a draw or a loss. Our way from is too wretched against cannon fodder teams. File this under villa, burnley, sunderland, leicester.

What's worse is I can see arsenal winning their next 2 games, which means they will be 1 point behind us.

If we don't score a few in the first half. We will be lucky to end the game with a point. As in pretty similar game to this one. We need players back for this. LVG should shelf his philosophy crap. We need fresh legs. We looks knackered in the second half.

Injuries have literally halved the scored. There's not much scope for rotation with the players available. Especially in midfield.

LvG said Herrera will be back this week.

Another early kick off. Can't see anything other than a bore draw here. Unless we have Di Maria and Herrera back which I highly doubt.

This'll be difficult. Reckon we can snatch a 2-1 win if some important players come back fit.

Would be great to have Fellaini back for this.

We need another CM back if we are reverting back to the diamond and two fullbacks with Valencia out. Hopefully Herrera is fit.

    De Gea

    Rafael Jones Smalling Shaw

    Carrick

    Herrera---Young

    --Mata

    --Rooney Falcao

If we don't get players back for this we're in trouble.

    --------de Gea------
    RAF--Jones--smalling--shaw

    --------Carrick-------
    Herrera-----Fellaini
    -----Mata-----
    Rooney ---falcao ----

I expert Blind to feature at some stage

Another shite hole away match.. Thank Lord we got a few home matches coming up after this period.

Even so. We have to sort ourselves out away from home. Teams behind us aren't far.

Would be nice if we could get on a run of wins away from home, starting here. Never easy but the first goal is key here. A goal to us and we'll win comfortably, a goal for them and they get the belief and it turns into the usual scrap against Stoke. Something like this I'm guessing (Januzaj in for Valencia if fit):
    De Gea
    Rafael Jones Smalling Shaw
    Carrick
    Valencia Rooney Mata Young
    Van Persie

Comfortable win. If we had taken our chances today people would be creaming themselves. We played very well, even if we did tire.

Our very weak defence (cough) is hardly causing us the issues we had earlier this year. LVGs magic is working. I would not bring ADM on for this one.

Crouch caused mayhem when he was introduced late on at OT, that's probably our biggest worry. That and being kicked from to there and back again.

Van Gaal talking about missing the chance to go up to 2 points per game average which is good (must be talking with reference to introducing a new style of play and dealing with all the injuries, as it's just in the 6-4th place territory).

Really need a win against Stoke now, and get 8 points from 12 which is OK, but 6 or 5 would be a bit of a travesty given our previous form.

    What magic is that exactly?

Cold and windy Thursday afternoon at the Britannia? That's a first.

Apart from the record breaking previous season we have actually a terrific record both home and away against these WWE gangsters. Think we will win comfortable, more concerned about our players getting seriously injured.

If we don't get players back for this we're in trouble.

    In trouble against Stoke?
We are in 3rd place, on a good unbeaten run.
You think Stoke who are in 11th will trouble us?
We were unlucky not to win at Tottenham. Logically a win at Stoke is a very high probability.

Well for one, his magic has made the same players as last year play as a team. He has introduced composure, we are not seeing panic attacks like we did in the first few games. His team has not been defeated in 9 and we are 3rd in the league when people thought we would struggle.

Apart from that he has done sweet FA and we should probably just admit he is Moyes 2, we are lucky and apparently we may be influencing referees to hide our shiteness. We will be found out when we play the big teams.

Stoke are a very good team these days. Reminds me a bit of Moyes' Everton.

We need a win but I think we'll get another draw.

Hoping for Sunderland to raise their game and beat City, though. Spurs will be crap again and beaten easily by Chelsea.

    Have you watch them lately?

They are playing good, won their last 2 games. We need to play like the FH vs Spurs. Hope to see Di Maria back for this.

    DDG
    Rafael Jones Smalling Shaw

    Valencia Carrick Ander/Fellaini Young

    Mata

    Rooney

considering our injuries i think its the freshest team we can field... i'd also rest Carrick but dont trust in Fletch tbh.

    Team should be...

    ---------------De Gea---------------
    ----Jones----Smalling----Evans----
    Valencia--Fellaini--Carrick--Young
    ----------------Mata----------------
    ------------RVP-----Rooney------------

Subs: Lindegaard, Rafael, Shaw, McNair, Fletcher, Falcao, Wilson
