Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, nicknamed Spurs and The Lillywhites, are a professional football club based in Tottenham, London; and were founded in 1882 as Hotspur Football Club by grammar-school boys from the Bible class at All Hallows Church. Spurs played in the Southern League until 1908 - when they were elected into the Football League Second Division, and hold the unique distinction of being the only non-league club to win the FA Cup (1901) since the formation of The Football League League. Spurs play their homes games at White Hart Lane, and share a historic rivalry with neighbors, Arsenal - termed the North London Derby.

Draw or loss here. They're better and more fluid than United

Trip to Ukraine combined with playing on a terrible pitch and Spurs getting an extra day's rest. Don't get your hopes up folks.

Difficult game, would be good to win at OT but we are playing a team full of confidence. Hopefully Bailly / Rojo gives some confidence to United on the back and Pogba / Carrick / Herrera can get a hold on the ball.

We're a better side then them. No doubt in my mind. Trip from Ukraine might make things more complicated, but being at home, expect us to control the game like we usually do. Might end in a draw though, seeing as that's our usual luck in the league.
Kind of want Mata to start. Not sure where. We need the front 3 as it is, because of the pace and power and directness they offer. Part of me thinks Mata would be a better option then Pogba in this game as Pogba hasn't really done too well in big games (apart from Arsenal)... But that's not going to happen.

    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Jones Blind
    Carrick
    Herrera Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Ibrahimovic Martial

Team with the most draws in Premier League v Team with second most draws in Premier League. So, logically it should be a draw.

How are tottenham full of confidence? They've been a bit shit this season and got deservedly knocked out of the Champions League group stage.

Prepare for more lost ground on the top 4 :(

    Team should be...

    ---------------De Gea---------------
    Valencia--Bailly--Rojo--Darmian
    ---------------Carrick---------------
    -------Herrera-------Pogba-------
    Mkhitaryan---Zlatan---Martial

Subs: Romero, Jones, Blind, Rooney, Rashford, Mata, Lingard

Put Mata instead of Martial and you've got my 11 highest rated players on redcafe. Just saying.

We going to need pace against these, but at the same time I don't want Mata to be benched. So not sure between Martial or Mata Rooney has to sit this one out for me.

    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Jones Blind
    Carrick
    Herrera Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Ibrahimovic Martial/Mata

Probably our 11 best players in general, certainly performance wise. Only thing is I always feel like Martial needs to start as he gives us stuff that none of our other attackers do with his pace, power and dribbling to provide goals from out wide.

We have to win this for any chance of top four. It's going to be a massive challenge after our European travels. Can't help but feel we'll drop points though.

Here are a few guarantees for Sunday:

    - Lloris will play a blinder
    - Dellend Alli will play a blinder
    - Eriksen will play a blinder
    - Kane will play a blinder
    - Wanyama will play a blinder
    - Alderweireld will play a blinder (he's back from injury just in time for us)
    - We will take the lead
    - The game will end 1-1

    Put your house on it.

I'm going to debate you on this one. :p

And as for the prediction: statistically, 1-1 is a given. Jose specialises in getting 1-1 after a EL game. So: 1-1.

I guess the only doubt is Jones or Rojo.

This is the first in a run of six consecutive quickfire Premier League games. Hope this is the beginning of a nice winning streak.

United to win. We'll score early and hang on to 1-0 for what will seem like an eternity and then we'll grab a second goal in or around 70-75 minutes and go on to win comfortably......finally!!!! The turnaround starts here

    DDG

    Valencia Jones Rojo Darmian

    Herrera Carrick Pogba

    Mkhi Ibra Martial

Would rather Blind start on the left than Darmian, but seems like Jose favors the Italian.

    Dave
    Valencia - Bailly - Rojo - Blind
    Carrick
    Mata - Herrera - Pogba - Mkhitaryan
    Zlatan

    Jones/Rojo is a toss up.

Mata starts as he wins us big games. Really a must win. Hopefully Mkhi tears up there full backs poor positioning.

This is definitely ending 1-1 or 2-3, probably the former.

It could be that Mourinho goes for Mata, but I think Martial has a good chance also, since he's upped his game.

    -----------------DE GEA
    VALENCIA - BAILLY - ROJO - BLIND
    ----------------CARRICK
    -----------HERRERA - POGBA
    MATA---------------------------MKHITARYAN
    --------------IBRAHIMOVIC

My team. I think it will be a 1-1 draw.

Why are people dropping Phil Jones?

Bailly is back and Rojo have actually been good lately. It's a coin toss between Jones and Rojo.

But seriously, we're playing Tottenham at home and people think we're going to lose... not saying they're a shite team. But these games are ones we must be winning. We can't afford hiccups at home vs teams that aren't top 4.

    3-1

Same lineup as vs. Zorya, just tweaking it a bit
    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Rojo Blind
    Carrick
    Herrera Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Rashford Martial

    Alternatively, we can go for:

    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Rojo Blind
    Carrick
    Herrera Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Martial Mata

    De Gea
    Valencia--Bailly--Rojo--Blind
    Carrick
    Herrera--Pogba
    Mkhitaryan--Ibrahimovic--Martial

subs: Romero, Darmian, Jones, TFM, Lingard, Rooney, Rashford

If Mata is fit then put him on the bench in place of TFM.
