Everton Football Club - nicknamed The Toffees and The Blues, are a professional football club based in Liverpool, England; and were founded in 1878 as St Domingo's, a sports club for people from the parish of St Domingo's Methodist Church. Everton was a founding member of The Football League in 1888–89, and became the second club ever to be crowned champions of England, after Preston North End. Historically, Everton are one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won 9 League titles, a European Cup Winners' Cup, 5 FA Cups, and 2 League Cups; while hosting the talents of Dixie Dean, Gary Linekar, Alan Ball, Neville Southall, Kevin Ratcliffe, and current Manchester United star Wayne Rooney. Everton play their homes games at Goodison Park, and share a bitter, historic rivalry with cross-town neighbors Liverpool, termed the Merseyside Derby.

We are going to Spurs after this so 3 points here is a must.

If we beat these and Spurs then I'll start to believe.

Assuming we get no more injuries over Internationals...

    Darmian - Smalling - Blind - Borthwick-Jackson
    Schneiderlin - Herrera
    Lingard - Mata - Martial
    Rashford

The most hyped team in redcafe history (Stones, Coleman, Barkley, Lukaku)

I would be hopeful that we kick on from here, but we've been here before. I fully expect LVG to regress to his philosophy, create 1 shot on target and end up losing 0-1.

Martial from the left, Rashford from the right, and the Captain from the middle. Gershwin would've loved if he made Rhapsody in Red instead.

5:4 final score. They score four in last five minutes.

If I was a betting man, this is one fixture I'd avoid like the plague.

    Ah! Some game-raising cnuts appear.

    Another scrappy win 1-0 hopefully.

Everton are a bit like us, they struggle to balance attack and defense, I think a draw is on the cards here.

For the line-up I don't expect much different from the derby, injuries permitting.

we've done well to even give ourselves something to play for given how the table sat recently.

but no room for slip ups now

The internationals are pissing me off, 2 weeks off...
Want so see United play again even that we are boring to watch currently^^

Repeat the first half display against City for the full ninety and a win is on the cards....

I'm not holding my breath with this one, Everton have a really good side, just the sort we will have trouble against at home, added to that it seems every time top 4 is there for the taking we do everything can to mess it up.

And this is a chance and a half we've been given, City have a brutal run in compared to ours, and if they miss out it could be extremely damaging to them, where as we've come accept our fate already, it would be poetry if it happened as I hope, but somehow I'm not that confident it will.

Everton is pretty crap this season so we have a good chance of winning although we're crap ourselves most of the time. We're playing at home so that's a plus for us. Just play like against City with a little more attack obviously and we should win. Their defense is posorous so our lads up front will have chances.

As it has been said here we don't know which Everton and which United will show up, should be an interesting game.

We shouldn't start neither Fellaini or Rooney but knowing LVG one of them if not both will start....

I hate sunday games. I love saturday ones cause I'm free of football the whole sunday, maybe I watch a game or 2 but not always and my missus doesn't like me watching football all weekend. :) :D
Of course if we loose my sunday is horrible so it doesn't matter when we play. But when the game is on sunday I'm nervous the whole weekend until the game and I don't like it.
Problem with this season is I'm not so nervous this season and that's cause we're so bad I've given up on our team. If we get top 4 it will be great but basically I'm waiting for Mourinho to come..

If we win then we can maybe start thinking about the top 4 properly again i.e we might actually make it. Then again as soon as we look like we are coming on and improving, we will show up against Palace and lose 0-1 with 1 shot on target in the whole game.

Same team as the derby. If Blind isn't fit, put TFM or Riley at LB and rojo at CB.
