It was only the intervention of Sir Alex Ferguson that halted the plan – even though Manchester city council were prepared to build an 80,000-capacity stadium to bring the club back to the city of their birth.
Just rumours.

Anyway, it will be a hell of a strike if we were to move away from OT.

Well I agree that It would've been a terrible idea but if they were offering 80,000 seat stadium I can understand why the board considered the offer.

Ooops ... I might have to revise the 50m price tag that many on here have derided ;)

It wont happen now for sure...does it make sense to move away from your 75000 stadium to someone else's 80 000 stadium? Definitely No.

I doubt the board would consider a move away from OT by just an offer of more seats. We are not Citeh.

05.12.10 | tribalfootball.com

Rangers striker Kenny Miller is being linked with AC Milan.

The Scotland international is in prolific scoring form this season and being considered at Milan for the January market.

Milan need a replacement for knee injury victim Pippo Inzaghi.

Miller is already 30 years old, but his contract expires in June and he would be available for around £1.5m.

In his career, Miller has also played for Hibernian, Stenhousemuir, Wolves, Celtic and Derby County.

Zlatan better watch out.

Kenny's fine foraging up front on his own for teams that park the bus, hence why he's first-choice for Scotland and Rangers. He's had a tidy season and was in the past linked to Roma and Fiorentina after an outstanding performance against Italy. But he'd have next to no chance of making an impact at Milan. And surely if they wanted cover for Ibrahimovic and Inzaghi, they'd recall Borriello from Roma?

I seen to remember his best run of form for Milan was when Inzaghi was injured previously

I don't think Milan can recall Borriello. They loaned him out with a view to a sale, because he's one forward too many for Milan.

Even though I think Big Sam's sacking was undeserved, don't think he is the right kind of manager to develop youngsters.
