How’d you book Randy Orton at Mania?

I think there are some very interesting opportunities and it’ll be interesting to see how WWE book it

It’s hard to believe, after the RKO, that it won’t be Aldis. He is only 38 and they only have a few weeks to get it sorted. The RKO and a reaction from Aldis, is really all it takes.

I would personally have a Rusev return with tank and all and beat Orton. He was completely wasted in AEW, and could easily step in as a major player as a heel.

An Alistair Black return with an entrance similar to his AEW one (which was so awesome) would also be great. Again, how AEW messed up that character with that entrance, I have no idea.

Why not use the space to have someone make a big splash straight out of the gate?

Or Malachi Black. Does a cody like return, and literally one black mass, 123.


Shame for Orton, he was obviously going over at mania, now he's probably losing clean to whoever.

I don't think he was necessarily going over at Mania.

I think that depended on Sami's timeline of return.
 
Apart from the payday I don't think Orton misses out much from Mania.

Better to put him in as a heel turn in a major feud next.

Oba coming in is an interesting one I hadn’t thought of

If Orton is going to be pushed to the top of the card after Mania and go for number 15(?) - then it might be difficult to build after a mania squash loss though. Maybe have Orton win by the skin of his teeth and need help being carried out after ?

That Charlotte Tiffany promo was brutal.

Charlotte looked completely rattled by the crowd. She has to accept someone booked like her is going to rub some fans the wrong way and on top of that up against a fan favourite like Tiffany: just embrace the hate.

But in general her promo battles are terrible. I know the idea is for her to come across cocky and brash but she always comes across as annoyed at whoever’s opposite her and then subsequently petty and condescending. Mocking Tiffany’s voice was the tip of the embarrassment.

Feel like for all her title reigns she’s never been in a decent feud. She doesn’t know how to put people over, doesn’t know how to make it feel personal without coming across as a 16 year old. Never seems to connect well with anyone.
 
This feud between booker T and swerve is uncomfortable. Fact of the matter is, swerve wouldnt have the platform he's on now speaking his opinion, without the booker Ts and beyond in yesteryears.

Don't think in the manor of his loss he should have been mentioning booker at that point in time either.
 
I am not enjoying this whole Roman Punk Seth feud turn into Paul Heyman Favor. All the three had enough story among themselves to make it intriguing but they have made it about Paul Heyman which I am not sure was needed.

Is The Rock just not returning now then? I thought he was going to be a fixture leading up to Mania again.

He tweeted "see you down the road" or something to that effect after the Cena turn, which I guess I didn't take seriously enough. I assumed he and Cena would resume their story after the European tour.

The only decent ones have been with Becky Lynch, who is even more brutal in destroying people in promos than charlotte is.

Can't fault flair for her in ring work, shes one of the best, but she never really grew in promos or anything else in the same way the other 3 did.

Sasha/Mercedes has always been absolute ass in promos too.
 
Not gonna pretend like I know anything about french Canada, but I'm shocked to learn Kevin owens only learned English in his teens, through Jim Ross!
 
What's people's opinions on stadium wrestling shows, where you can see the daylight?

I personally fecking love it, but I feel like I'm in a minority?
 
Summerslam 92 was one of the first events I ever watched live on TV and it felt absolutely massive. (I was too young otherwise) Anytime they have done a stadium since, it has just felt like a special occasion. I love them.

It must have been amazing, just on atmosphere alone. The Hitman match, and the story of how he had to put it together, is incredible.

That might have been the match that most showed the world how good he was.
 
I was at Summerslam 92, i was very young and my only memory was the moment British Bulldog beat Brett for the intercontinental belt.

Wrestlemania 93 at Caesars Palace was cool but weren't there like loads of DQs.

Imma go out on the limb and say fake news. Don't think that's paced very well at all and night 1 is lacking.

Also they've said both nights are 9 hours long whilst actually breaking down why they're not 9 hours at all.

Barely any of those matches have been officially assigned a night and WWE haven't ran pre-show matches for ages, so 3 hour pre-show over the weekend is actually just two 90 minute interview and chatting shit segments.
 
Women's tag titles no.1 contenders is being decided by gauntlet match tonight, a week before Wrestlemania.

That just about sums it up tbh. Absolutely zero build, just do a random throwaway gauntlet match. So poor.
