Other Stan Lee: Elder abuse in final years?

Should come as a shock to exactly....no one. It's probably "Hollywood/showbiz" industry in a nutshell. Exploitative - everyone trying to get rich and/or their 10 seconds of fame - no matter what they have to do/who they have to take advantage of.

I know I'm quite skeptical here and probably generalizing quite a bit, but I'm sure a large part of that industry is exactly like that.

Not surprising. I doubt he would have showed up in trash like Ant-Man and Captain Marvel by choice.

Someone in the comments says that this guy waited til the Statute of Limitation has passed on the crime of elder abuse before making the Kickstarter. Four years, apparently.

I’m a little surprised that someone of such standing was still a victim because my naive assumption is there’d be at least a handful of people looking out for him, if not for genuine reasons then at least to protect him as an asset. Perhaps it could be argued he had outlived his usefulness and it no longer mattered if was alive or dead. Very sad in the cold light of day, and probably does a better job of highlighting the issue to people like me.

The stuff you’ve both highlighted is disgusting, between that and the footage, the picture of his final years looks so bleak.

Yeah, that guy is a pos. Did nothing when Stan was alive and needed help, and is now exploiting him in death.
