Television Dexter: Original Sin

Yeah it’s a lot of fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously either. The twist seems a bit silly but interested to see where it goes.

I do think all the backstory with Harry and Dexters mum is a bit unnecessary though, they already covered it all in the show before didn’t they?

I really like this show. It’s a good watch and a lot like early Dexter seasons.

Will it be an ongoing show or a one off?

ongoing I think, given how good it's been I'd say it has to be.
damn I wasn't expecting that twist of the seasons big bad serial killer actually being Brian, and the way he tries to kill baby Deb

Finally caught up on the last three episodes and I'm really enjoying this.

That Gio seemed very weird, knowing what Dempsey's character is now it seems they put him in as a bit of a red herring. Shocked at the reveal of him being the one murdering kids, doesn't seem to have any real motive? Also cool to see Brian. Not sure where they go with it because we know he doesn't die/get caught or meet Dexter. Maybe he kills Harry or something and Dexter doesn't realise...

Yeah, it picked up nicely as the season went along. Probably the most enjoyable Dexter since the middle of the original series run.

Overall it was good but I just don’t buy the Shepherd storyline. No way he goes that psycho over so little, he was clearly a good man before that. Just silly for the sake of a plot twist.

Binged the last six episodes, enjoyed it.

Liked how they fleshed Brian's backstory out, though in those circumstances I don't buy him not killing Harry when he had the chance on the roof.

There's definitely room for a second series if they wanted to.
