End of Sancho at ManUtd?
I hope not.

I'm dying to watch Sancho as a False 9 ever since his pre-season.

Ten Hag changed his tactics to false 9 in the last few games of the season so i think that's how we start our next season tactics or practice in pre-season so if Ten Hag & Sancho ever make up - i reckon Sancho will get a game as a false 9 unless Hojlund looks in unbeatable form in the Euros and pre-season.

I don't even rate Sancho highly but i think his position has not been made yet & once he gets to play centrally he will become better.

Guess it’s goodbye for Sancho then. He wouldn’t have been happy hearing that ETH is staying.

Champions League Sancho doesn't need a non CL club who celebrated a micky mouse cup triumph over blue sauce lickers.

Hopefully. He isn’t cut out for this club.

If he doesn’t remain so inherently dense he’ll eventually reflect on his time at United and realise that he spaffed an amazing opportunity up the wall for the sake of his ego and a PlayStation.

No, he’s finished at the club. We will get €35-€40m, same as for Greenwood and be done with two toxic influences (for different reasons of course). That’ll come in at around +€50m on our books which can only help with PSR.

As for false 9’s, I really can’t see that being out tactics considering ten Hag spent £64m on Hojlund.

Yeah I want him gone too. He was shit for us, that itself is enough to move him on.

EtH would take him back, he doesn't seem like a grudge holder.
I don't know, he seems to have really hard line principles, which I think Sancho undermined.

Also Eth did give him a few months off in the season to get help - maybe he looks at Sancho as selfish.

Sancho is a very good player, and if we can get this team to the possession based team Eth is going for then I think he'll shine.

Ten Hag won't be planning to play a false 9. It was a situational gambit he used for a few games at the end of a poor and injury-ravaged season.

Good, the club decided to go with Erik so we're getting rid of him, I'm very happy.

A few months ago I would have agreed with you. But he has been playing and did well in a couple of games. And he has one hell of a PR team  so I think they might actually be able to sell him now. Especially with ETH staying.
Honestly I don't know who'll sign him.
I heard that BVB aren't totally invested in him. They would prefer to spend big on Maatsen.
Maybe PSG?
Maybe Chelsea if they miss out on Olise?

PSG might be a shout, not sure on Chelsea. Saw a few tweets linking him with a move to Italy and other teams in Germany. So the reality is if we were to sell him it wouldn't be for a great deal (25-35 million maybe?). But I would still be looking to get rid for that, too much stuff has gone on and just breeds more negativity. And for the argument of him coming back, I just can't see that. Felt like his side were making it clear he would only com back if ETH left, and I hated that.

Sancho's gone if he continues his stupid childish attitude. It's more of whether we can find anyone to buy him at our valuation.

That PR team was all the british press working for free while it was a stick to beat United with. Not so much now that we'd gain from his move.

 Like Reznov from Black Ops, "ANYONE!!"

He’ll go out on loan , there’s no club paying £40 million for this waste of space
Probably right, but we can hope.

Also a good point. And the way Dortmund have been like 'well we really like him but not enough to actually buy him' won't be helping

Of the two of them, I’m glad we’ve backed EtH.

Sancho will be a forgettable player in the broader context of football.

The only club who want him actually don’t want him unless he’s given to them for nothing. That’s all he has. It says a lot about his reputation in the game.

His wages are obscene. If the reports are accurate then he's earning what the absolute best players in the world earn while largely putting in performances worthy of the guy down at the park. Gonna be very difficult to shift him on those wages unless he takes a pay cut or we subsidize a significant portion of them.

It’ll drag out all summer and he’ll end up on loan for a nominal fee to help with our FFP and some of the wages covered.

The Woodward era is going to take a fecking hell of a long time to wind back. I can understand giving the likes of Varane big wages given their standing in the game and what they were already being paid by Madrid. Paying £300k a week for someone from Dortmund is just insanity looking back.

The only way we should ever see wages like that again for United is if we get back to winning titles. Players like Bruno who are signing their third contract with the club can be rewarded for success.

Seems like that’s the end of his career with us then. Hopefully we can fetch a good fee for him.

Mickey Mouse cup??? It’s the FA Cup! One of the oldest and most prestigious trophies in football. Sure it’s not on the same level as the Champions League and the Premier League, but a Mickey Mouse cup it is not. Please be being sarcsstic

Get rid. He hasn't got the mentality for a club like United. He's also disrespected both the manager and the club.

Doesn't deserve another chance.

With or without ETH , selling Sancho is the right thing to do. The club seems to have taken that stance .
