See yaIt's over
Ten Hag doesn't deserve the stay of execution but I am relieved that the Southgate stuff can die a death (for now).Tweet

Depends on your definition of "we". I certainly don't deserve this.New contract as well. We'll get exactly what we deserve.
That guy is beyond repair. Clock’s not ticking.Even a broken clock's right twice a day
Are we keeping the same physios ?Agreed on all counts here but I just hope that the health of the squad miraculously turns around as so many seem to believe so that we can see what a fit side can do.
Given what was on show the few times the team was relatively healthy, I can't say I expect much of a difference but that's the only potential silver lining I can see here even though injuries are absolutely part of the game for everybody.
I also hope the club manage to be decisive in the market for a change and really address key needs for the club long term rather than wasting time in the summer trying to buy exactly who the manager wants.
Hope we get news of outgoings to wasn't his over soon too
Are you serious? He literally doesn't get the possible outcomes of an audit. Not really. Which part is 'stupid'?
"I'm pretty sure you don't need a review to stick with what you started with"
The words of a man who has no clue what an audit is.
Deadly. Are you serious? He literally doesn't get the possible outcomes of an audit.
These lot have been in since the start of the year. I'm sure they could've decided internally by the end of the season whether to keep him on without having a drawn out process following the cup final result if they really felt he was good enough."I'm pretty sure you don't need a review to stick with what you started with"

The collective fanbase does.Depends on your definition of "we". I certainly don't deserve this.
I wanted him gone, but I'll back him.Fine with that by has come very late in the day. Let's see some quality recruitment and push for top four. No excuses.
Think this stinks of the fact that they wanted to sack him but changed their mind after the finalThese lot have been in since the start of the year. I'm sure they could've decided internally by the end of the season whether to keep him on without having a drawn out process following the cup final result if they really felt he was good enough.
If he finishes 6th next season some will be asking for a parade and a trophyNah. Like I said previously, I believe he’s completely safe for all of next season and up until middle of the following one regardless of results. If things are very bad then they will revisit but if he survived last season the bar for the upcoming couple of years has to be very, very low or else it’s unfair.
Many men...
Hope. Ha, ha, ha... This is embarrassing, and very, very bad news. On a number of levels.Looks like we are stuck with him then. Not the decision I wanted, hope I'm wrong.
Here's hoping for a much improved season.
If you want to share tweets by stupid, go for it. If you're going to plaster angry opinions to pollute the thread I suggest you aim higher than Simon Jordan though.Deadly.
Wilcox conducted the review. The review completed end of season. Wilcox presents his review for discussion. They compare ten hags well established pros and cons (as a result of the review), with the availability in the market after discussing face to face with alternatives. These lot have been in since the start of the year, I'm sure they could've decided internally by the end of the season whether to keep him on without having a drawn out process following the cup final result if they really felt he was good enough.
When he gets the new contact offer, he should take 3 weeks to review it and chat with some other clubs before accepting.
Bingo.Well would you look at that. I'm sure all the fans who wanted him gone will now get behind the team and support him next season.
Right decision. Get him a first choice CB, Neves to partner Mainoo, an extra attacker along with some defensive backups and I don't see why he wouldn't get at a minimum of 3rd next season. The guy has already shown he can get the team to qualify for champs league, can win trophies against the best and beat the big boys. With the right signings I'm fairly confident he can get us competing at the top in a season or 2.
I won’t believe a word of it until
@TrebleChamp99 our resident ITK confirms it with one of his 2 sources.
Everyone including their cat, dog and ETH knew his position was under massive scrutiny. It was an objectively bad season. Even someone as stubborn as ETH (with his tactics) has the self awareness that he couldn't just command 100% buy in from the new board. If he's sane, he will be breathing a sigh of relief knowing he's got his job 'back' and also probably feeling a little vindicated, which imo although unjustified (i.e excuses about injuries etc), I totally understand. You've got be a little unhinged and arrogant about what your doing right (or wrong) to be believing in yourself at this level.I can live with the decision itself, but the decision-making process has been shambolic. Now you're in this weird situation where everybody knows that the club spoke to other options and the manager doesn't have the full trust of the board any more. Yet you still want to sign him to an extension? Not going to lie, that whole process doesn't really fulfill me with confidence in our new overlords.
