Even The Athletic are talking about this end of season review. I get it needs to happen and strong consideration needs to be made but they've had more than enough time make a decision. I think if he stays, it's a bit disappointing that the club didn't back him sooner, it's understandable but would feel like he would be going into next season with a short leash. Regardless of the decision they make allow this to drag on too long without clarity isn't good optics imo.A public review, or statements he was 100% sacked which came from one or two people and was just copy and pasted for clicks and reads. Of which most of those journos have since back tracked and changed their tone and wording.
If EtH stays, then it looks quiet simply like it was a storm in a teacup caused by the british press - not uncommon really.
If he is sacked then thats when it actually looks bad in Ineos, because actually the press was right but they didn't have the neck to do it as planned, so wanted to let water flow under the bridge first.
