The last poster looks like a quick PS mash up.
The Ghanaian poster is quality though.

Genuine spoiler as NSFW - for reference and an idea, it's a poster for Boogie Nights

Seeing Pacino's Hanna take a line of coke in the film would've made him less sympathetic towards the audience.
We needed him to be somewhat clean and 'on the ball' professionally.
We didn't need him to be like Keitel in Bad Lieutenant or as a arrogant, overzealous 'rockstar ' type cop like Petersen in Friedkin's To Live and Die in L.A.

Isn't it just about the shootout?

I'm gonna get stoned and watch Heat and Blue Collar tonight

Blue Collar last as it's hilarious and more enjoyable the more stoned I am

Disagree entirely with Pacino... Mann leaving it out is a bang on decision. It's already obvious(to most), no need to bang it home as it'd only hurt the character really.

Not heard of that one before. Recommended?

yeah especially if you like gritty 70s stuff

it's a Paul Schrader movie with Keitel, Richard Prior (playing a straight role) and Yaphet Kotto in it

it's a classic for me and in my top 25 of all time

For the 30th anniversary my local cinema is showing Heat. Just finished book tickets in the middle row with fully reclining seats.

What an affluent and like-minded post

You'll be sending your kids to private school next just because you can.

Oh god. Why do I have this feeling they'll butcher it.

HEAT is one of my all-time favorite movies.
it will contain several hooks that lead toward the blockbuster spinoff streaming series, it will have worse acting, way worse screenplay and way much better visual and sound effects than the original, all CGI of course. All action sequences will be easily reproducable in the accompanying video game franchise.
Everybody's gonna love it.

So it's not directed by Michael Mann?
