Most valuable Premier League players

See this @Big Andy? While you’re at home with a pool ball in your mouth and little Andy in a cage watching John terry throw one up your Mrs, I’m out here elevating the game of football as the biggest star in the premier league :wenger:

That's oddly specific. This is a safe space, if there's something you need to get off your chest.

He's michael owen. I won't allow any bullying here, let the man speak those facts.
Oh Christ, we have to be in character?! What's Jeffers like? (I think he might turn out to be a lot like me, coincidentally.)

Luke Chadwick is awesome and bald so it won't be difficult for me to get into character.

I get to shag Frankie Bridge while you're knocking about with a bag of bones though, so swings and roundabouts.

OK, I've added the remaining players.

@Withnail got Phil Neville
@Shakesy got Carragher
@BristolMick got Kirkland

@Ian Reus when you have your pick let me know and I'll add you. The best players still available are Sol Campbell, Woodgate, Sean Davis and Ledley King.

The game starts with 3 matches to go before the 2002 World Cup. It looks unlikely England will finish first, but beating Germany away and scoring a bunch of goals is still possible. If it doesn't happen, England will play a playoff over 2 legs.

If new players want to join, they will be able to pick any english player involved in the national teams, but only if they join before the 2002 world cup. If they join after that, they will have to start as an u21 player, the same as active players who retire and want to keep playing. When this happens I'll use the genie scout to see who are the players with the most potential and I'll let you choose one of them.

From now on, I'll post small updates during the season. Transfers, awards, injuries, status, etc. At the end of the season I'll post a small recap. The main focus will be the national team matches: call ups, strategy and the game itself.

Good luck!
