I think Chelsea have been the better team but they look quite vulnerable defensively

Game has ebbed and flowed. Chelsea on top now but they haven’t been better all game. Fairly even both looking terrible in defence and with absolutely no control in midfield.
 
Shaw will be happy that his England place is safe. Chilwell's a decent player but he's made three or four poor touches in this half of the sort that Shaw basically never makes.
 
Gakpo been a disaster in central midfield today.

Klopp solution to throw another striker on.... :lol:

Liverpool looked on top and should have buried the game early on in that first half. Should be 3-0 after 30 minutes, but wouldn't surprise me if they throw this away now. Chelsea have more control.
 
For everyone raving about Gakpo last week, he has been pretty poor. Ball keeps bouncing off oh him.
 
For their next match, Liverpool should definitely have a midfield. All the best teams have one.
 
Sterling has turned into one of them players with no end product. How he starts above Mudryk baffles me
 
Jackson is gonna be a massive flop.

I also forgot how much of a gremlin looking cnut Diaz is.
 
Liverpool need an actual defensive midfielder. I’m not sure Lavia is the one for this season.
 
This game is crying out for Mudryk. Put him on poch
 
This is a good free flowing football. Poch is making his mark. Reminds me of his early days at spurs.

After that opening 30 where Liverpool were opening them up for fun it’s been chelsea that’s been the better team. Liverpool have no control in the middle l.
