I'm skeptical, because I don't think any club really managed to secure itself in the top strata without massive financial backing (City, PSG) and even perennial members of their respective elite league that have extended golden years don't really manage to entrench their position there... Except maybe Atletico and Borussia ? I'm not sure they count or if they're in-between, big clubs that managed to crawl back after lean years.
Even FC Sevilla is somewhat skint, isn't it ?

For sure, Brighton could secure a very stable 5-10 years out of all this revenue.
There are some similarities with dortmund for sure. One big difference though is 30,000 seats at Brightons stadium, they'll need to expand their stadium if they want to go to a more permanent next level.

So Melissa Reddy knows absolutely nothing. She was claiming that Caicedo was open to joining Liverpool.

Carraghers had a bit of rollercoaster ride on social media. He went from adulation in spending huge money on a top young talent to disgust on someone else spending huge money on a top young talent
In fairness to him he was taking the piss out of himself with that 2nd tweet.

Can't believe Klopp couldn't sway him with Thursday nights in Uzbekistan playing Europa League football. Maybe he's losing his touch.

Call me impatient (fecking 12 hours now!) but where is the £115m bid that the Chelsea mafia are feeding Romano and Dharmesh? Talking done now.

Show us the money.

What does it matter when the player clearly doesn't want to go to Liverpool?

The player told you to do one. There's no rush for us.
You can believe that, and yet here we still are. Not getting the message for some reason.

Better hurry up as the Utd fans on here prepare for bed with that same sinking feeling in the pit of their stomachs that Chelsea might actually be all fart and no shit.

Sorry Utd fans, hope you are able to sleep well.

Gosh, what reason could that possibly be, and could it by chance rhyme with "schmineptidude"?

Liverpool should be used to missing out on players who they thought were signing for them. Lou Macari, Mikael Silvestre, Phil Jones all made a late switch to United :lol::lol:

Do you think it's worth moving onto Lavia? Just in case, you know?

You know Thursday nights in europa are bad when a player would rather not play in Europe at all and have weeknights at home.

How can Chelsea spend nearly £800m in two transfer windows? Surely that has to break FFP? Not even have European football this year. Seems like there cooking the books massively.

Typically the first step for cooking books is to make a lot of very high profile purchases that by a pretty universal consensus are considered overpays so you may be onto something here

Because of the sales in that same period and how FFP actually works.

We'll be fine. Or we wont and we'll pay a fine.

Off to bed now. I am expecting to wake up with Caicedo a Liverpool player, Lavia a Man United player and Chelsea to have put a bid in for James Milner.
Mctominay is available for the right price... Let Boehly know, please
