Season 2 has been funny but the biker hitmen bit was stupid.

This show is out of control. It is such a good stereotype of the corrupt preaching dynasties. I think Edi Patterson as Judy Gemstone is classic.
Yeah she's awesome but didn't seem to have much to do this season other than take care of the pregnant aunt. This season was good but felt like it was spinning its wheels a bit. Nothing really changed for any of the characters, and there's so much potential there. Third season needs to take a few more risks
True. It might one of those shows that can’t go anywhere but down really where two or three seasons is all it has to offer. ie: Party Down, original Office.

Binge watched the first 3 seasons, a lot of fun. Baby Billy is an incredible character, but no surprise given Walter Goggins is amazing in everything he does.
4th season just started and impressive to see they got Bradley Cooper casted in it.

Yeah Cooper doing the entire episode 1 (prelude) was a pleasant surprise - and a fairly different tone to the actual series as well. Really well done I thought. Not sure where they’re headed with this, the final season, but it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable tv series.
Me neither, but if I had to take a stab at it:
a bit like succession where the empire crumbles at the hands of the kids. Perhaps showing the creation of the Gemstone family through the 1st episode, and the way they have emphasised the corruption of this current generation makes it feel like Danny McBride will want to make it explode and end for the family. The 2nd episode of him "flying to close to the Sun" definitely will see Jesse have a spectacular fall from grace in my opinion.
