Club Sale | It’s done!

That tweet doesn't really make me feel great about the prospects of the club, even though it's supposed to, on paper.

Like hitting the cheat code and unlocking all transfers and upgrades, but nothing truly meaning what it used to, anymore.
Yeah we get it. Unless we're owned by the local butcher, who was born and raised in Salford and has never set foot on a train, let alone left the country, and unless we have to struggle our way to victory on a shoestring budget, every trophy will have an asterisk next to it and feel hollow

Yeah, these ‘cheat-code’ posts got boring ages ago.

The nearly 500 pages of this thread could have been done in 20 pages -- if not for the same ol' 'concerns' 'outrage' being mentioned over & over again by the lazy fecks.

Wish people would invest in reading the previous pages rather than just typing whatever pops into their head that moment like it's some original thought.

Perhaps if you'd taken your own advice and not been one of those lazy fecks, you'd have realized why it's a recurring theme.

We need off the field investment in infrastructure. Let the commercial team what they are doing and don’t interfere in squad progression that we have seen this year. No debt is added bonus. Our new owners really dont need insane amount of state backed funds

This man is the biggest bluffer in the business.
I agree. Can’t stand him. Never any insight, never any exclusive but talks like everyone dials him up to reveal everything before they even entertain the thought of doing anything.

You forgot how he must look at the stars and think of Munich every time. And have The Trinity tattooed across his chest.

The article doesn't say what the headline says and everything we've been told about this process via every outlet that has reported on it has been clear that there is an extended second phase to this process. The bidders haven't even had access to United's full financial details yet.

This made me chuckle thanks.

Reliable local guy who confirmed it yesterday has a further say:

They are being careful in presenting this deal as private investment. Abu dhabi deal for Mancity and PSG deal by QSI were mentioned directly as State investment if i remember correctly

Qatar are a disgraceful state for human rights. Look at the slave Labour for the World Cup.

Very different not wanting that to only allowing a local fecking butcher from Salford.

Can't believe we've already got some fans lining up to sell their souls. Even if they do take us over, we can criticise them. Unlike City, our club will be bigger than the owners.

Manchester United are a separate entity from who owns them.
Not the same and you know it.
City are defined by their owners. This club stands on it’s own.
Genuinely curious about this narrative when for years it’s been feck the club this and feck this club that about anything from transfers to dividends to on field performance and manager hiring and firing.
Glazer and Woodward are no more Manchester United than Al Thani and Qatar would be and vice versa but now it suits we are suddenly to turn a blind eye to the owners.

You all sound like FIFA begging the world to ‘ concentrate on the football’ because it’s less uncomfortable and inconvenient than having a conscience and discussing the issues rationally.

I don't get this thinking. There are lots of legit ethical reasons to not want this but if they bought us we wouldn't be cheating.

We would finally be able to use our own resources to compete - we make loads of money its just been siphoned off. We have been conditioned to poor owners, even before the glazers the owners didn't spend freely.

It's like we have been a boxing with one hand behind our back. If you free us from debt we would finally be able to spend what we always should have been able to.

These are the guys responsible for the human rights violations in building the world cup. All is forgiven, as sportswashing is alive and well in the city of Manchester.

Exactly unless this qatari bid is substantially bigger than anyone else?
