It was pretty evident that they don’t have the squad to do anything beyond scrapping for 4th. It’s October and half of them are already dead on their feet after one half of football.
The drop off from Jesus to Nketiah, or Partey to anybody else is pretty huge, so an injury to either and they are back drawing or losing a few games in a row. Fortunately for them they’ve had a head start and most top 4 rivals are cack one way or another, but talks of challenging City was always a pipe dream.
