Gonna need a few results to make it that long! Guess we’ll have to root for him so we can destroy him at the opportune moment.Early Nov.
Would prefer that tbh because he gets Villa up to play us.He will be replaced by Poch just in time for our games.
He really does have a bizarrely tiny forehead.Tweet

Shit than Ole
Bit of a generalization, this, based on littleHim and Lamps have been pretty crap. This whole stick of great players making good managers doesn't really work, if anything it's a handicap because a lot of those players will have sky high egos and so won't put in the same amount of effort and study as other up and coming managers.
ThreeheadHe really does have a bizarrely tiny forehead.
The media would love it but I don't see it ever happening. He is not very good !!Hope he turns it around. Need him to be just good enough to take that Liverpool job someday.
Liverpool aren't stupid, theres no way they would hire GerrardHope he turns it around. Need him to be just good enough to take that Liverpool job someday.
@FootballHQDo we have any Villa fans on here? What's the opinion on him?

If he was going to get the boot sometime soon, who are the popular names to come in and replace him? What I posted on page 15 a week ago:
There's no real tactics tbh, Palace completely outplayed us first half and we were lucky to go in 1-1. So had a chance to tweak things, maybe put on Douglas Luiz to try to get some tempo in central midfield but he stayed on the bench and only came on at 3-1.
His only response was to put Ings on so he's just one of those managers too simplistic in his approach which we all feared based on the more measured analysis of his time at Rangers.
Our next three games are West Ham, Arsenal and Man. City. As a guide Dean Smith had 10 points from first 6 games last season. We'd need 7 points from those three just to match that.
Today Moyes would've been more than happy with 0-0. They barely left their own half for first 45 minutes. Then he sensed we had little to hurt them, made a few positive subs and pushed WBs more advanced and they won the game.
We are in massive trouble with Arsenal and Man. City next. Could easily be bottom of the league in 7 days time so it would just be blind faith and crossing fingers if he remained. It's not just results, the performances are terrible aswell with very little decent chance creation.
As a few will know I'm not a big fan of xG but Gerrard as our manager would be an interesting case study of it given what we've spent on forwards in last 12 months yet it's basically just the wing backs getting endless crosses into the box that very rarely beat the first defender.
I said it as a joke earlier but Martin O'Neil making a return isnt a bad shout at all surelyIf he was going to get the boot sometime soon, who are the popular names to come in and replace him?
He's not managed since 2019 and was dated even then. The man's a dinosaur.I said it as a joke earlier but Martin O'Neil making a return isnt a bad shout at all surely
Or maybe the vast majority of managers fail, which is only heightened the higher the level they enter atThis could be made into a thread but I always wonder why England's Golden Generation players seem to be terrible managers. Neville, Lampard and now Gerrard. Maybe they were pundits and get protected too much from their media friends so become very self-entitled and cocky.
I don't think there is any special reason. There are only ever a small number of managers considered highly successful at any time. Generally there are the high achievers (Klopp, Pep), the ones that are solid but uninspiring, and then the ones that end up getting sacked regularly or can only compete at a certain level. This could be made into a thread but I always wonder why England's Golden Generation players seem to be terrible managers. Why would Poch go to Villa? I don't rate him much but he could do better. He will be replaced by Poch just in time for our games.
Where? Why would Poch go to Villa? I don't rate him much but he could do better.
Obviously there aren't many top jobs available but he'd be smart to take a break and wait for now. There's early signs that it might be a rough year for Tuchel at Chelsea, and with Conte's track record of volatility who knows how long he'll stick around at Spurs?Where?
