Alaba and Boateng have left, Davies and Goretzka have just come back from a lengthy injury/illness.
Still, it doesn't quite explain how pedestrian and gaping that back line is.

One other thing: is Nagelsmann drunk to play with a back 3?

Bayern fecked it. Liverpool - Man City nauseating fight for the treble with each other. FA Cup semi against each other, probable CL final against each other, the title against each other. Brutal.

Chelsea our only hope to stop them in the FA Cup and Chelsea or Madrid in the CL. Slim hopes.
Who would then equal our European cup total
Honestly this is just completely torturous. I know we were spoiled under Fergie but surely no fanbase deserves this as karma.

The CL is a glorified FA Cup set to music

For all you fannies crying about Liverpool, keep in mind a Bayern this shit would have been dismantled utterly by Liverpool's quality from front to back.

Villareal in this form are the more dangerous opponent. Atletico knocked Liverpool out playing a similar approach.

Failing all of that... Come on Putin

What? He's been literally everywhere and has been stopping us cold all night long
He's also been stopping his own team by giving the ball away constantly.

Rudiger didn’t slip, it was terrible body positioning
Yeah the slip was irrelevant, Benzema just drew him in and distracted Kante before pulling back into the space. Just class movement.

Camavinga has breathed life into Real Madrid, just like he did against PSG. What a talent.

Bayern Munich 1 - [1] Villarreal [1-2 on agg.] - Samuel Chukwueze 88'

That's amazingly poor by Davies, he only had one man to defend it was obvious the cross was going that way, amateurish to defend so badly.

Davies...

Seriously, how did that Bayern team go from a very tight defensive unit just 2 years ago into such a mess at the back?
The stupid 3-2-5 formation didn't give it away? Sané and Coman as wingbacks?

Funniest thing is that their 5 forwards then stand on each other's toes while Pavard proceeds to lob in 100 crosses from the edge of the box.

Probably would have been funnier if I knew exactly what they were saying, but I suppose it was a general excitement for drawing that team.
I'm too lazy to translate verbatim, but it's something like: Let's see who Villarreal's opponent is, I think I've seen FC Bayern. Yep, it's Bayern.. Let me put it this way: it's a doable draw. - Laughter.

Yeah he plays with such authority and urgency.

Marcelo on the other hand…I reckon he’ll throw this one away for them!

Liverpool have had an incredible run to the final
Inter, Benfica and Villareal to get to a Champions League final. It's like a Chelsea FA cup run.

Only surprised they can't somehow have Spurs in the final again.

City vs Liverpool was always going to the final in my mind regardless of a Bayern knockout, they are just simply miles ahead of everyone. It's going to be like this for the next few years too

Have you seen Upamecano this season? I can see why Nagelsmann would be inclined to line up two CBs next to him.

Lost the ball to Kroos that could have led to a goal. Lost the ball on your first goal miscommunication with RLC that led to your 2nd goal, that's a lot of mistakes for one game.

SInce he joined PSG he faded and has been really a shadow in a lot/most of important games. That's a fact
That's very different than what you said before though. Also, he was great against Bayern Munich last season, when fit he's usually one of the 5-10 best players in the world outside of this season, which is why I had to point out how silly your previous post sounded.

A City vs Liverpool CL final. I mean, that’s seriously enough for me to start following cricket
