Champions League Quarter Finals (5th - 13th Apr)

I thought it was a corner and that Chelsea should've had a pen.

Just because a Spanish team shout loudly and wave their arms about a lot, doesn't mean they're telling the truth.

Real are fecked. They've been absolutely dominated for 50 minutes, just seems a question of when Chelsea score more.

It feels strange watching a coach react to where they were weak last week, and make tactical adjustments to be better this.

Yeah it's impressive. He even made the changes to a back 4 at half time I think in the last match.

It's sad to see how far away we are from any of these teams. Chelsea, City and Liverpool absolutely dominating everyone in Europe.

VAR doesn't check corners
Another stupid aspect, if a goal is incorrectly allowed from a corner, then VAR should check it. It takes them a couple of seconds to look back and see Modric never touched that ball and let the referee know, goal kick to Madrid.

Lewandowski, what a player. Disrespected and unwanted by Bayern, yet does his best to put them through. Inspirational!

I’ve never seen a footballer win the ball as much as Kante. He’s simply breathtaking. Always getting a foot in, in the right place, or fouling a player.

surprised a guy who's at seasoned as Ancelotti hasn't changed personnel or tactics given how much they've been dominated this match

Not sure what personnel would change things. Chelsea just have a better midfield. Old man Modric and Kroos are getting run ragged.

no b/c Timo is playing a second striker most of the time or just under havertz with Mount in the christmas tree shape

Well that‘s what the graph of real time positioning showed..

what happened to asensio, didnt madrid slap like some insane buyout clause on him?

Fair play Chelsea. Takes a lot of bottle to come down from a 2 goal defecit against Real Madrid
