When and where are the Champions League quarter-final and semi-final draws?
The 2021/22 UEFA Champions League quarter-final, semi-final and final draws will begin at midday CET on Friday 18 March at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.

How will the Champions League quarter-final and semi-final draws work?
The draw will set the ties for the quarter-finals and semi-finals, and a draw will also be held to determine the 'home' team for the final, for procedural reasons.

The draws are open, so there is no seeding or country protection. Any team can be drawn against any other team. The first team drawn plays its first match at home, against the second team drawn.

When do the Champions League quarter-final and semi-final ties take place?
Quarter-finals
First legs: 5/6 April
Second legs: 12/13 April

Semi-finals
First legs: 26/27 April
Second legs: 3/4 May

Final
Saturday 28 May (Stade de France, Paris)

Quarter-finalists
Atlético (ESP)
Bayern (GER)
Benfica (POR)
Chelsea (ENG)
Liverpool (ENG)
Manchester City (ENG)
Real Madrid (ESP)
Villarreal (ESP)

Put City and Liverpool on the other side of the draw and I'll be happy. Give us Bayern in the quarters and Real in the semis.

Liverpool, Chelsea and City will get Villarreal, Atletico and Benfica.

Fecking hell. Has this season not ended yet?

Bayern the only side who could give Liverpool and City a game and even then they would be big underdogs. They'll steamroll everyone else.

Personally just want to avoid either of the other English sides and Bayern. I’d be happy with anyone else.

Liverpool-City
Bayern-Chelsea

Atletico-Villarreal
Real Madrid-Benfica

Bayern wouldn‘t be „big underdogs“ in these games. I am not calling them favorites but if it comes to those games you can check the bookie’s money.

An English team is going to win it. And it's going to be one of those two.

God I hope you're wrong. Give me Bayern, Chelsea, Madrid.... anyone but City or Liverpool.

I'd rather have Atletico shithouse and penalty shootout themselves as European champions than have Liverpool winning another CL.

I feel sorry for whoever gets Atletico Madrid. But I hope City gets them. Would be satisfying watching city out dive and outplay them.

Liverpool Atletico
City Benfica
Chelsea Real
Villareal Bayern

That's my prediction

They ain't actually THAT good anymore. I wouldn't dread them anywhere near the way I did in the mid 10s.

Aslong as Lukaku doesn't start the games I'd be confident Tuchel will outsmart Simeone again.

Tbf there's only one team I desperately want to avoid and that's Liverpool. Bayern I feel we could take advantage of their high line and City I feel we'll have a psychological advantage against in Europe.

Ofcourse that also goes with the conditions Lukaku is not starting.

Prediction

Dippers v Villareal
City v Benfica
Chelsea v Bayern
Real v AM

Semi Final

Dippers/Villareal v Bayern/Chelsea
City/Benfica v Real/AM

Me too

Hope I’m wrong but can see a Liverpool-city final. That would really top our season off… our 2 biggest rivals fighting it out for the biggest trophies, both in the league and European.

Quarter-finals
First legs: 5/6 April
Second legs: 12/13 April

City-Liverpool PL April 10

Need City vs Liverpool draw here

The only team I fear is City - they strangled the life out of us in both our games this season.

We'd be underdogs against Liverpool and Bayern but I think we match up well against both those teams.

But yeah, City and Liverpool taking each other now would be fantastic.

Don’t worry, you’ll get Benfica.

Careful mate, if you don't retract your statement, I'll have our lawyer contact you to tell you about our tough CL draws and you lot drawing Olympiakos once.

And FA cup semi final

that would mean 4 games in a row City V Liverpool !

God I hope for some tough draws. If we end up with Bayern - Real and the English teams getting the other teams I will be sad.

Liverpool v Villareal
Benfica v Real

City v Bayern
Real v Chelsea

If we get City, at least it would be nice to play them 3, potentially 4 times in a row.

Imagine Liverpool playing in the Champions League final going for a quadruple.....

Villareal v madrid
Benfica v bayern
City v liverpool
Chelsea v atletico

Please

We've won two knock out games since 2011. We'd have lost to whoever we drew.

Amazing how pathetic and irrelevant the club has become on the elite European stage.

I saw the two City v Chelsea games this season and large reason for that was due to Lukaku. City where able to take the piss with him playing, as they knew they wouldn't have any press to deal with and they could handle him so easily they could afford to drop Dias for the game at their's. Be a different game without him on the pitch.

Hopefully Chelsea get Liverpool at least one of them gets knocked out.
