In the latest episode of the United Hour Podcast, Nik (@Rood) and Imran (@Annihilate Now!) are here to discuss three 1-1 draws.
The first got us knocked out of the FA Cup, the next puts us in a good position in our Round of 16 Europa League game, and the latest was an actual decent performance against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

There is absolutely no reason for Bayern to change anything. Cristiano would force them to, since his skillset is so different from that of bayern's current forwards. They don't need him, and they could realistically get worse by signing him
Where did you read these rumours? I guess we'll get some sort of insight into how he interacts with others in the dressing room with the new amazon doc on Juve set to be released.
He also currently earns the combined salaries of Lewandowski, Neuer and Müller.
And besides that he is obviously not coming to Bayern. Juve, PSG or MLS it will be.
I'd say Ronaldo has had his fair share of moments. His stunner against Porto, free kick vs Arsenal. Overhead kick vs Juventus etc. His dribbling ability hasn't been GOAT level, but he's been magical in other respects not that his dribbling was poor when it was an essential part of his game.
Actually, someone could easily say the opposite and say he has made smart choices at the right time?
Ronaldo was a beast at United and if you are asking where is the magic? I mean he won the Ballon Do'r at United, how many can say that?
If magic you mean the free kick against Porstmouth? the Solo goal against Fulham when we were chasing the title? The goal against Porto ? The semi final goals against Arsenal? The goal in the final against Chelsea?
That's just the ones I can recall at United, what about Real Madrid, the goals in the Classico? To be able to even push close to Messi alone is magic. Then you have the goals he scored in knock out CL for Madrid that helped them get 3 CL in a row, he was scoring Hat tricks against the best teams in quarter finals, semi finals.
Then we go to the Euros, hat trick against Spain?
When was the last time a Ronaldo team played good football? 2017?
He's a tactical headache, Juve have bought a lot of good young players who could flourish under the right setup with Dybala as the main man.

Dybala who was player of the season last year and who - like many of his teammates - been incumbered by Ronaldo, unfortunately for Juventus.
I just think the current Ronaldo is the kind of player you sign when your team is complete, not when you are building.
That's one season out of 3 that he was good. Encumbered by Ronaldo? He's been injured the whole season. Also, how could that be so if he was POTS last year playing next to the very same Ronaldo. You're contradicting yourself in the same sentence.
He was better last season that Ronaldo was in any of the previous 3, and as good as he's been, would be better if he weren't encumbered by Ronaldo.
That's utter nonsense and you know it. Neither the numbers nor performances have show this. Even last season it's arguable that he was better than Ronaldo. He got the Serie A MVP but Ronaldo still got Juve's MVP for the season.
Very few Juventus fans think it's arguable that Dybala outperformed Ronaldo last season. He was much better.
This whole 'encumbered by Ronaldo' thing is a nonsense throwaway comment that people try to use to discredit him, imo. I could say that Ronaldo is encumbered by Dybala with nothing to back it up too.
Most Juve fans naturally like Dybala more than Ronaldo. I agree Dybala was probably slightly better from an empirical point of view. It still doesn't erase the fact that Ronaldo was the team's topscorer by a mile and scored in what was a record 12 consecutive games last year which was a major factor in them retaining the title. Also, he turned up for Juve's most important game of the season against Lyon which Dybala didn't (as he was injured).
It was close between both IMO. Hence why Juve still gave Ronaldo their MVP award despite Serie A awarding theirs to Dybala.
But your point about Dybala last season being better than any of Ronaldo's 3 Juve seasons is simply false.
There we go, mate! And as soon as Dybala got injured, Juventus struggled because Ronaldo doesn't have the same impact. Glad we're on the same page.
Dybala was injured just for the Lyon match and Juve struggled the whole season with both of them in the team. They both bailed Juve last year.
If it was vice versa and Ronaldo was injured and Dybala was the only one to carry the team, they would have struggled even more.
Conjecture. All we have established is that Dybala was much better last year. In any case, it's a matter of opinion and we aren't going to go anywhere debating this.
If you think Ronaldo's impact on the team is greater than Dybala, that's fine. We'll see what happens next season when Ronaldo is gone and Dybala get's Creative freedom, and we'll compare Juventus' performances to those of this year.
What’s the best performance you’ve ever seen him have where he didn’t score a goal?
It’s funny that both you and @romufc lean very heavily on his United career when coming up with ‘magical’ moments in his career, which is indicative of how his game changed a lot. The United version, whilst still not among the very best I’ve seen, was a player with a more varied skill set.
There's plenty. But from the top of my head...vs. Man City away 12/13.
On the plus side, he is still among top 3 striker or goalscorer in the world. 101 goals in 133 games over past 3 season, or 73 goals in 90 games over past 2 season, are still very much impressive even when compared with other best strikers nowadays such as Haaland or Kane. He could still dribble abit, his season avg was 1.8 dribble per game, ranked at 9th in Serie A, which makes him better dribbler than most of our players except Rashford. He could still make some nice cross from time to time, as he still likes to start attack move from the wing. And he still making many runs throughout the match with good off ball movement when he see any potential opportunity. Even at this age, he is quicker than most defenders. He is also very experience and always knows when to shoot or make a pass, his decision making is still top class.
On the downside, his stamina level has dropped notably if compared to his younger days. He could no longer make runs after runs without spending some time recovering, and he is more and more conservative in terms of consuming his energy. His altheticism are no longer at highest level, still better than most though. His is no longer lightning fast, but fast enough to outpace most CB. Also, sometimes he could disappears in games when there’s no support from midfield. He tend to have more off games nowadays than when he was younger. With him on the pitch, you won’t expect him to share much defensive duty. His overall performance level has also dropped abit every year.

It's probably because we are Man Utd fans. It's more memorable what he did for us.
When I think of his champions league performances for Madrid, none of the goals come immediately to mind apart from the overhead kick v Juve. I also don’t recall a game where he didn’t score but dominated the game with his all round play. Or even a game where he DID score and also dominated the game with his all round play.
Whereas I have a very clear memory of the goal v Porto, the free kick v Arsenal, the dribble goal v Fulham (not CL obviously but it’s one I remember) etc.
What moments do you remember from that game?
Vs. City home & away 12/13; vs. Napoli home 16/17, etc if just for CL.

He scored in both legs by the way. Which doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good performance but that’s not initially what I was asking about. I expanded it to games where he did actually score, but I was trying to draw a distinction between the United version and the eventual Madrid version. Even 2012-13 was relatively early on at Madrid.
He didn't score in the return leg.
He skinned Kompany (prime) at least 2-3 times, created several goalscoring opportunities for teammates and initiated counters.

He didn't.
Benzema was the only scorer on the night and the match ended 1-1.

Well, I didnt watch Madrid week in week out neither do I watch Juventus however, I do Watch United and I can remember very well that he was special for us. Magical should I say.
You do not win the Ballon Do'r the number of times he has if you are not a special player. We have had plenty of them at United, how many have won the Ballon Do'r?
He got goals in key games, key moments for us. I don't remember many games like that, because when he was hitting his prime he was scoring almost every game.

Here are two match reports from that game, doesn’t sound like an incredible, dominant performance from CR to me, just a good one. He’s hardly mentioned.
