I think Selby is a bit annoyed which is expected in the heat of the moment , in that last frame as well Ronnie just smashed a couple of balls blindly and ended up with good outcomes which is obviously hard to take for Selby

Nah he was on form being cheeky and not a dick like he can be.

Selby on the other hand is making a right prick of himself in his. I get it, he's upset he lost, but he's being a complete miserable and bad loser there
What did he say? Selby, I mean.

Your game is fecking disrespectful ya cnut, just try to bore every cnut to death, purposely overthink shots and do your stupid folded arms bullshit constantly. Slowing games down so decent potter's can't get their rhythm.

Sore loser
Bingo.

Made a right prick of himself there, they were trying to be as kind to him in the studio as they could be, but you could see they thought he'd mugged himself too.

Ronnie's well and truly melted Selby's brain. I reckon he wishes he could of done the same to Ebdon though.

Selby’s tactic was laying on difficult long pots, gambling Ronnie would miss

Jester from Leicester ain’t laughing now

Get in. Selby has half a point but who cares. You can't tell me Selby doesn't delay some of his shots on purpose to disrupt Ronnie.

Go on Ronnie!!

Claimed Ronnie was disrespectful to him and playing mind games, over and over.

Kind of hypocritical that

Being disrespectful to the game is kinda Ronnie’s thing.
Also taking the game to new heights and dragging it along is his thing too.

So we can forgive his mental issues a bit more than someone who's entire game is playing mind games then bitching when he loses.

Selby clearly hurting. I think he knows deep down that Ronnie has tried something different there and it’s absolutely worked. Selby coming to terms with that and he’s looking for some sympathy while he’s licking his wounds.

I've just found the replay of the interviews. Not reached Selby yet but Ronnie's is fine. I retract my moan.

He's embarrassing himself there. The 'jester from Leicester' just being a grumpy bad loser.

Was Selby always a bit entitled and I've just not noticed it before?

Very unfortunate outcomes of both semifinals. I hoped for Selby vs McGill final, and what have we got? Complete opposite, that’s really hard to take.

That final would really have tested your love for snooker

Very excited for Kyren Wilson, who I've definitely heard of, to bring it home.

Selby being daft, its obviously a bad tactic to hit-and-hope as its low % success. Silly to complain about your opponent doing it and nearly gifting you the match.

Quite.

'My opponent used poor tactics and beat me' isn't really an argument.

That would’ve been fine, a very tactical game.

Wilson vs O’Sullivan will just be exchanging centuries, I am afraid. And I don’t think Wilson is good enough to stop Ronnie in this form, which makes it even more sad

Selby wants a tactical battle to slow Ronnie down, put him off. If Ronnie is just smashing it then its either flukey safe cue ball or Selby wins a frame he would be favourite to win anyway but without frustrating Ronnie.
Smashing the ball lets out a bit of frustration.

You saying Ronnie or Wilson can't play tactical? In that last frame Ronnie got out of and retaliated with some snookers to match and eventually beat Selby.

Anyway each to their own mate, but seeing players actually potting balls and being good at it is why I watch the game. Not for tucking merchants.
