Redcafe Snooker

Seems ages ago but McGill was 39 up in that frame and broke into the reds somehow not ending on one . That could have been match over if he had ended on a red

Between that and Wilson getting half his points from the miss rule, that last frame left a bit of a bad taste in the mouth for me.

I watch snooker maybe 1h a year but somehow I managed to catch this. What an insane frame!

As I said after the morning Selby will regret not winning the morning session in which he totally dominated

Everything going for Ronnie this evening. Snooker is a weird sport like that
To be fair he had a fair bit of bad luck in the beginning of the match. Some nasty kicks.

Certainly looks in the mood now though.

Big frame for Selby there, disrupt the momentum. Gutsy stuff.

Tough to look past Selby or Ronnie, but weirder things have happened. Would be poetic if he wins it against Ronnie after what Ronnie said about the young ones coming up

You think he was targeting a near 29 year old in his comments? I think he was referring to there being quite a lack of stellar late teens or early 20's coming through, outside of Yan? It's not a Ronnie issue though, the tour protects those with a card really, so the 6-7 new faces getting through Q-school each year have to smash it.

I had the perception he was referring to the last 10 years or so, not just currently. But I hear you. Regardless, he definitely wanted to play so mind games, or its just a case of Ronnie doing a Ronnie.

That was a shocking attempt at the blue from Ronnie there. Should have played for the snooker.
