Kingsley Coman

We need a plan B if Sancho doesn't arrive, suppose this is it

Manchester United are interested in signing Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman and have held talks about the French winger joining the club.

United’s prime target for a wide forward player is Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, 20. The Englishman remains in their thoughts but United don’t limit their transfer options in any position to one player; Coman, like Sancho, has been watched extensively.

He has pace and dribbling, but wasn't he known for being very inconsistent ?

It'll be a decent signing but I think he'll end up on the bench for Greenwood. Will be a good squad option.

Waiting for the inevitable response from another journo who says this isn't true

Christ, avoid like the plague.

I suspect the clowns on Reddit will now provide an up to the minute detail of all of this within the hour. They hadn’t the foggiest this morning.

He is good but has issues with injuries. I actually think that he is one of the missing pieces for France but he is always injured around international breaks or during them.

Would rather get in Gnabry, Prem experienced, or Davies if we're looking at Bayern wingers tbh

Isn’t he injured all the time I’d pass, good player mind..

Is this the guy who said something along the lines of one more big injury and he’s retiring?

I wonder how interested we genuinely are, seems like maybe this info came out to try to apply some pressure on Dortmund. I’d be interested in signing Coman as long as it doesn’t jeopardize the Sancho signing.

He would link perfectly with Martial. Not bad for a plan B.

He's got 3 years left on his contract, and Sane wasn't bought to replace him. Unless someone comes up with a batshite crazy offer, there's 0 chance of our board selling him.

Mitten isn’t usually one for going with transfer stories. And he’s pretty open about clubs just using rumours for their advantage. Could definitely see it being a leak from United to pressure Dortmund into selling Sancho.

I wouldn't class Bronchitis as an injury. What next, hayfever?

I don't mind this as long as Coman is a squad depth buy and we're still after Sancho as well.

I’d snap him up as a back-up winger.

For me either you are good enough to start or do not want. Otherwise you get a lot of players that can't be trusted in the squad and need to overhaul them after 2 years of being average.

they've just signed Sane, plus they have other good options. Coman is super frustrating because he's injured all the time.

No, Sane included we now have 3 good options, all a bit injury prone, and one hell of packed season ahead of us.

Add Lewandowski in the mix too, we need depth up top. I'd possibly take Alaba and Goretzka too.
In Football manager sure

Was only mentioning wingers specifically though my good man...

I pretty sure he said he'd sack off football if he got another big injury. I'd be verrrry wary of this signing.

Always felt a bit overrated to me. He's won loads of trophies but seems more through being at the right club at the right time rather than exceptional ability.
