I did not suggest short term signings.

I am simply not a fan of January signings unless the can help with the current season. There are usually better opportunities for signings in the summer.

In simpler terms, I would rather add a younger player like Dybala who can immediately improve the team substantially while still offering 5-10yrs of service.
Be patient. Dybala will be here in the summer transfer window:)

Firstly, didnt say Sanchez wont contribute (as he is currently better than what we have) but that it wasnt worth it long term imo.

Pulisic is 19 but has been developing quite well and is currently a core player for Dortmund. He offers the kind of creativity in the final third that we often lack and can contribute to a championship run next season. For the right price, he is worth the gamble imo.
He also plays for Dortmund and I am beginning to think we are cursed where their players are concerned.

£350,000 per week. The game has gone mad at the elite level, and you have to wonder where it will end. How long before the average price of a match ticket in the Premier League is £100?
It's only a reflection of the market

No one seems to make a fuss about it when Chinese clubs make average players among the highest paid in the world yet the moment an English Giant also offers big money folks want to moan and complain about the ills of game...

Are there some people on here saying Sanchez is too old, or that we are paying too much. Who cares!! We are short of world class attacking players. We do most other things right on the pitch but we seem to lack a penetration up top ( no pun intended) this guy ticks all the boxes. Not reliant on pace, he is a winner. This will breed into the team

We have gone from having one world class player with De Gea, to having two with Pogba. It is now going to become 3. Hopefully in the summer Jose will address those other two problem positions of CM and RW and we will s*it all over that seagull headed tw8t from Catalonia

Jesus I know you Brits are bad with foreign languages, but that's some next level shite.

"The transfer of Henrikh to Arsenal is done! Alexis Sanchez goes to Manchester United."
Regardless of how simple it may seem, the general rule on the forum is to translate all tweets if not English. I don't know any foreign languages so "c'est fait" could mean anything to me.

Anyone but Rashford
There is an element of us forcing this on Mkhi, because ordinarily he would not be choosing to go to Arsenal. We're leaning on him in the hope he can make our signing of Sanchez easier. By all accounts, United have thrown Mkhi into the deal, without first convincing/consulting the player.
It's simply a choice that's presented to him.

Joking aside Arsenal are actually a good club and they're obviously interested. I actually imagine it was them, rather than us who brought Mkhi into the deal - He can turn them down if he's so inclined but I don't think he can expect much sympathy from our fans when he hasn't exactly been playing his heart out for us. No one would want him to go had he lived up to talent and expectations, that's just the reality and I don't think it would be different at any other club.

Arsenal fans not really keen on Mkhitaryan.

We are the ***** of the football world. Take our best player, give us your worst. Thank you.
Can't wait for his first interview,

So what made you choose Arsenal, Mkhi?

fat boy: I didn't.
What’s worse? Having this pregnant man in your team or a dog molester? It’s a tough one.
Surely our rubbish medical team will spot he’s permanently pregnant?
Not sure I have the energy to watch this slob attempt to run.
Imagine replacing Alexis only with castaway fat Ross. Unbelievable. It'll be worse than that summer when we only bought Cech.
The fat Mickey Mouse, can't believe we are really in for him.

Imagine losing Alexis in a swap deal for this joker. Absolutely horrible. Travesty.

That latest BBC report:
"But neither Arsenal nor United will sanction the deal without Mkhitaryan travelling in the opposite direction."

It would surprise me quite a lot if we weren't willing to do a cash only deal. Mkhi will either leave in January or the summer. He has a choice of going to Arsenal or hardly playing for the rest of the season, not out of spite, just because he's been an absolute passenger this season for us and he'll only go further from being involved if we add Sanchez.

What's this thing about Micky being pregnant?

Also if we do end up signing Sanchez, can we officially add Jim White to the banned list? The 10% stuff is solely intended to wind people up.

Magical Manchester United.

It's quite obvious IMHO that it's not about our end, but Arsenal securing a replacement. If that replacement shall be Miki, we will probably have to wait or persuade him to join the Gunners.

He's not as bad as they're making out and might even thrive at Arsenal. Problem is he will probably go missing when they face any opposition who causes Arsenal problems, which is most teams.
Nah, he’s useless. Never a united player. He’ll reach the same levels of greatness Wilshire and Ramsey have at Arsenal.

Despite the various claims and counter claims floating around social media, I think it would be wise to believe in what the Armenian journalist says.

The Chilean newspapers seemed to have the inside track on the Alexis end, you would imagine Armenian writer has pretty good sources in Mkhi's camp too.

No problem with that mate, just genuinely surprised! If the King turns out to be full of nonsense, at the very least you've learned your first French words.

Dont think its peculiar to United. Dortmund players do have a tendency of failing to deliver (for one reason or another) outside of the bundesliga e.g. Sahin, Kagawa, Mikhi, etc
