The Europa League 2017/18(Use the SF thread to discuss the current match)

Watching the Lyon-Everton game. Interesting to see how Memphis will perform. I've completely forgot he even played for us.

Looks like Everton are committed to undoing some of the good work the top 6 are doing for England's UEFA coefficient. Really never understood Koeman's recruitment strategy. It's like he was more interested in spending money vs getting the proper parts.

Is Rooney injured or is it one of the many big calls that Unsworth is making?

Lyon fans all think he's crap, not sure there's anything to expect.

Atalanta up thanks to a Ilicic's penalty. Copenaghen, Partizan and Austria Wien also up. Lokomotiv-Sheriff 1-1.

40min: Concerning scenes here for Everton. Cuco Martina looks like he has been knocked out cold following an aerial challenge with Maxwel Cornet.

The medical teams assisting him look relaxed in treating the full-back, but they are also being very cautious.

Memphis has been quite good. Got the beating of Besic. Should probably have had an assist from a cross.

Lyon - Everton, 60 mins played. Without a doubt one of the most atrocious games in the history of football.
