"This is the game all Celta fans want to see."

"We hope first of all that the statistics (United having won just twice in Spain) stay as they are, just two wins away from England."

"My players have matured at incredible speed and tomorrow they will be very sure of themselves."

"How do you beat Manchester United? Be faithful to who we are. The team has a clear identity and they believe in it. Lot of possession and pressure. We recover the ball quickly. We have to be faithful to who we are facing such a great team as Manchester United."

"I thank the players for their attitude and commitment. The squad have really believed and that has translated into results."

"There will be times when we control the ball and times when we defend. United changes according to who they play against and we have to be ready for that."

"United know what they are doing. They know how to manage the pace and when to attack. We want to get a result that gives us a chance of winning through to the final and that is about playing how we play. We hope we will win with conviction, identity and heart."

"I was a witness of Marcelo Bielsa's match with Athletic Bilbao against Manchester United and he found a tactical solution to that match and that might be a clue for us to follow tomorrow."

"Manchester United know what they are doing: how to manage the times, the pace, the defence, the attack."

"Tomorrow we want to go to Manchester with a chance of winning, a result that gives us a chance of winning and the only way of doing that, really, is being faithful to our own game."

"More than my influence, I think Iago (Aspas) has matured a lot personally."

"He has really assumed the leadership of the team, which is very important."

"I think playing on the right-hand side of the pitch really liberates him in his creative freedom and he is able to combine better with the central forwards."

Real Club Celta de Vigo, usually known as Celta Vigo or sometimes just Celta (and nicknamed Os Celestes - The Sky Blues, or Célticos) is a Spanish professional football club based in Vigo, Galicia - playing in La Liga. Celta Vigo was formed as a result of the ambition of Vigo's teams to achieve more at national level, where the Basque sides had been their bête noire in the Spanish Championship. The idea was to merge Real Vigo Sporting and Real Fortuna Football Club to create a more powerful team at national level.

Celta have never won the league title nor Copa del Rey, although they have reached the final three times in the latter. One of the team's best seasons was 1970/71, when they finished unbeaten at home and were known as the "giant-killers". Celta came sixth that season and qualified for the UEFA Cup for the first time. The club finished in their best-ever position of fourth in 2002/03, qualifying for the 2003/04 Champions League, where they were eliminated by Arsenal in the Round of 16. The club's home stadium is Balaídos, which seats 29,000 spectators. Celta's name is derived from the Celts who were once present in the region. Its main rival is fellow Galician club Deportivo de La Coruña, with whom it contests the Galician Derby.

Giuseppe Rossi (at United from 2004-07).

For the first time this season, I'm not looking forward to a United match.

Mata and Mkhi must start IMO. As must Martial.

Hopefully Bailly will be fit for this one.

    Team should be...

    ---------------De Gea---------------
    Valencia--Bailly--Blind--Darmian
    ---------------Fellaini---------------
    -------Herrera-------Pogba-------
    Mata---------Rashford---------Mkhitaryan

Subs: Romero, Young, Tuanzebe, Carrick, Lingard, Martial, Rooney

Feck knows what we do if Bailly isn't fit

We need a score draw or a win ideally as we'll probably draw at Old Trafford.

    Leave Rooney in Manchester.

They must be licking their lips... we've got mad injuries and can't score. Be a miracle if we get through this:(

    De Gea
    Valencia Darmian Blind Young
    Fellaini Herrera Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Rashford Martial

Lol at that defence. Would take a draw and havr us needing a win at OT.

    DDG
    Valencia Bailly Blind Darmian
    Fellaini Herrera Pogba
    Mata Martial Mikh

    De Gea
    Valencia Darmian Blind Young
    Herrera Fellaini Pogba
    Mata Rashford Martial

feck it play Mata if hes fit.

Tunazebe should get an opportunity here. Rather have him in there than Darmian and Blind together which seems an accident just waiting to happen.

On the evidence of our performance against Swansea, we're up said creek without a paddle.

Our only saving grace is that the players have shown more diligence in the Europa League this season - namely because they've known for a while that it's our only hope of making the Champions League.

We just need to find one goal.

    Romero
    Valencia Darmian Blind Young
    Herrera Fellaini Pogba
    Mkhitaryan Rashford Martial

    ------------------------DDG-------------------------------
    ------Darmian--------Carrick-----------Blind-------------
    Valencia---------------Fellaini---------------------Young
    --------------Herrera-----------Pogba-------------------
    --------------Mkhitaryan----Rashford-------------------

Bench: Martial, Lingard, Mata, Rooney, McTominay, Tuanzebe, Romero

Assuming that Bailly won't be fit enough to play, else I'd have him on the position of Carrick

This is going to be a tough match. If we could get two goals, we would be doing well.

    Romero
    Valencia Darmian Blind Young
    Fellaini
    Herrera Pogba
    Mkhi Rashford Martial

We need a result there, not to depend on a home game.....
In any other circumstances a boring 0:0 there would do.

I checked before our KO today and Celta have lost their last 2 games if that counts for anything

This is our last chance of Champions League football with the bonus of giving us a trophy and the possibility of playing the European Super Cup - puts us right back in the map of the top european football.

This said, Celta de Vigo is one of the best teams in Spain (dont let the league table fool you). They already beat Barcelona at home and eliminated Real Madrid of the spanish cup and in Iago Aspas they boost the fourth top goal scorer of the spanish league - already on 17th goals just in the league.

I dont know what players we will have available but I´m hoping that Pogba will play and that Bailly is recovered as well as we need a very strong line up to bring something back to Old Trafford - with their style of play they will almost for sure score goals away and that´s why I believe we need a strong result in the first leg.

Tunazebe should get an opportunity here. Rather have him in there than Darmian and Blind together which seems an accident just waiting to happen.
Sure, a young player, barely played this year, put him for a tough European away game, most important game of the season.
